Moving into the future requires a conscious decision to leave behind the ways of Egypt. Egypt represents a life lived in the flesh, relying solely on human strength and personal agendas. When you try to do everything in your own power, you suffer from the debilitating disease of "me-mine-itis." It is never too late to reverse your direction and return to the counsel of God. By turning away from carnality, you open the door to the life and peace that only the Spirit provides. [40:43]
“Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the Lord, “who make a plan, but not from me, and who make an alliance, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; who set out to go down to Egypt, and have not asked for my counsel, to take refuge in the protection of Pharaoh and to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!” (Isaiah 30:1-2 ESV)
Reflection: In what area of your life have you been relying on your own strength rather than seeking God’s counsel, and what would it look like to "reverse" that direction today?
The "land" God has for you is not just a physical place, but His specific agenda and will for your life. Whether it is healing, a new job, or a restored relationship, God has already inspected and preserved this inheritance for you. You are called to occupy this space by faith, trusting that He maintains your lot. Even if others seem to be sitting on what belongs to you, God’s promises will not fail. Your expectation will not be disappointed as you move to possess what He has prepared. [45:54]
The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. (Psalm 16:5 ESV)
Reflection: When you think about the "land" or the specific purpose God has for you this year, what is one promise from His Word that you can hold onto to keep your expectations high?
While God promises the land, possessing it often requires engaging in spiritual battle. Life is warfare, and the blessings God has provided may require you to fight your way through opposing forces. You cannot simply be casual or cavalier about the spiritual obstacles that stand in your way. To dislodge the "strong man" guarding what is yours, you must operate in a strength that is greater than your own. By engaging the enemy through the Spirit, you enforce God’s will over your circumstances. [52:42]
“Rise up, set out on your journey and go over the Valley of the Arnon. Behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. Begin to take possession, and contend with him in battle.” (Deuteronomy 2:24 ESV)
Reflection: Is there a specific "strong man" or obstacle—like fear, lack, or sickness—that seems to be guarding your peace, and how can you begin to contend against it in prayer today?
Your struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual principalities and powers that occupy various territories of your life. To stand firm, you must clothe yourself in the spiritual armor God has provided. Girding your waist with truth protects your most vulnerable areas, while the breastplate of righteousness guards your heart. Taking up the shield of faith allows you to parry every fiery dart the enemy throws your way. When you are fully equipped, you can withstand the evil day and remain standing. [01:00:33]
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness. (Ephesians 6:13-14 ESV)
Reflection: Which piece of spiritual armor—truth, righteousness, peace, faith, or salvation—do you feel most in need of "putting on" as you face your current challenges?
God has given you the authority to bind and loose on earth, reflecting the reality of what is happening in the heavens. When you bind the spirit of poverty or darkness in your prayers, you are restricting its influence over your life. Simultaneously, you have the power to loose wealth, health, and the light of God’s revelation. This authority is even more potent when exercised in agreement with others through corporate prayer. By speaking the Word and praying in the Spirit, you enforce God's victory in every situation. [01:31:32]
Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 18:18 ESV)
Reflection: What is one specific negative influence you need to "bind" in your life today, and what is the corresponding blessing from God that you will "loose" in its place?
A clear, urgent call to prepare for 2026 frames this teaching: God has already spied out the year and preserved for each person a portion to possess, but entering that inheritance requires decisive spiritual movement. The congregation is invited to leave “Egypt” — a metaphor for carnality, self-reliance, and misplaced alliances — and to reverse course where necessary. The promised “land” is defined as the specific will and purposes God has for each life: healing, relationships, jobs, promotion, or other God-ordained opportunities that have been kept safe by God’s oversight. Possession of these things will often demand active engagement, not passivity; some blessings arrive easily, but many require spiritual conflict and the displacing of powers currently occupying that territory.
The teaching emphasizes the combination of practical holiness and strategic warfare. Righteous living, truth, and the study of Scripture arm the believer; the weapons described are spiritual — prayer, the word of God, faith, evangelism, and the armor of God — and they are deployed to cast down arguments and bind strongholds. Corporate prayer and agreement are highlighted as channels of authority: two agreeing in prayer tightens heaven’s response. Uncompromising separation from ungodly influences—relationships, habits, or financial concessions that betray God’s commands—is essential, because mingling with what should be removed will erode destiny. The session moves from doctrinal ground to hands-on practice: binding spirits, loosing God’s provisions, and praying in tongues as part of persistent warfare.
The overall thrust is pastoral and urgent: God’s promises are sure, but they require repentance, focused discipline, spiritual weapons, and corporate engagement so that the preordained land may be forcibly taken and possessed for God’s purposes in 2026.
``Psalm 16 verse five. It say, oh lord, you are my portion. You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup. You maintain my lot. God preserves what belongs to you. He preserves it. Whatever is yours, what does God do? He preserves what belongs to you. He preserves your lot. That which is yours, that relationship, that job, that opportunity, that business endeavor, that is yours. God preserves it for you. And somebody may be sitting on it right now, and your responsibility is to make sure that you possess it because God is the one that preserves your lot. Amen. Aren't you happy that God will preserve yours? Yeah. He will preserve what belongs to you. Amen. Now you've got to possess the land. The plan of God for you is that you must possess it. Jeremiah 29 verse 11, what does it say? I know the thought that I think towards you.

Why is that important? Why is that important? If two of you on earth agree on something, why is that important? That means corporate prayers is very important. Look at somebody and say corporate prayers. Corporate prayers. You can pray alone. Yes. It's important. You can do it. They say if two of you shall agree and you pray together in agreement, he said my father will do it. He said because two are better than one, isn't it? He said one will chase a thousand and two will chase 10,000. And that's why when we invite people for corporate prayers, don't say, well, I can pray alone in my room. Yeah, you can play pray alone in your room if you don't have a choice. But when we invite people for corporate prayer, that is very critical because the results you get in corporate prayer is more than what you will get when you pray alone.

And I want you to turn away completely so that you can enter and possess. And how you gotta do it? I mean, fight your way through in the place of prayer. Fight your way through. Every single day, engage in warfare. Are you listening to me? Every single day, engage in warfare. Don't say, well, I'm too strong. I don't need to fight. I'm too strong. It belongs to me. No. Personal prayer and discipline and fastings. No. Engage in it so that God will help you to possess your possession in 2026.

You can't enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods except you first bind the strong man. And I told you, I said the word in Deuteronomy chapter 11 verse 10 and verse 11, where it says that you are going to possess the land. Look at what it means. I checked it in its original meaning. That word they possess, it says, is to occupy by driving out a previous tenant. To seize it, to rob, to expel, and to cast out without fail. Do you see that?

And when you look at the new testament, even when Jesus Christ sent out his disciples, how did he send them out? Send them in twos. Because two are always better than than one. So if you are going to get your possessions this year, you may need to fight. You may need to fight. You may need to fight. I do not want you to compromise with the enemy. Because compromise is terrible. You've got to displace and dislodge the powers that occupy the place that belongs to you, the position that belongs to you. Do not compromise with sicknesses or diseases. Don't compromise. Do not compromise with poverty because poverty is bad. Do not compromise with idolatry because it is bad. Do not compromise with iniquity because it is bad. It will destroy you gradually. Do not.

the breastplate of righteousness. So you've got to live a righteous life if you want to engage in warfare. The next one, he said have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Evangelism is a weapon. Did you know that? Evangelism is a weapon. I remember many years ago, I entered a car and I after I entered that vehicle, I was coming from Calabar. I was going to my hometown, I come. And I entered that vehicle, commercial vehicle, and then it dawned on me that these guys may be kidnappers. Fear gripped me. Guess what I did? I just started preaching in the car. I started evangelizing immediately because evangelism is a weapon. Are you following this passage? It say your feet with the weapon of fear. The and the preparation of the gospel of peace. And it say above all, take on the shield of faith,

There are some battles you will fight in order to get there. Because have you seen people who they have everything, but yet their life is not together. Even Jacob who was blessed, even Jacob who came from a patriarchal prodigiously wealthy family. Even for Jacob to enjoy the blessings that God had provided for him, he had to fight his way through. And in Genesis chapter 32, on that final battle, he engaged God himself a theophany. He had to engage him in battle and say, if you don't bless me, I will not let you go. And that's what I wanna talk about briefly this morning and see how far we can go.

You begin to rebuke the forces that are occupying that are taking that are taking habitation in your business, in relationship, in the lives of your children. I hope I'm making sense to you this morning. We begin to rebuke it. He said, therefore, take on the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day. And having done all, what do you do? You stand. It begins to give us the armor.
