#NotAloneInResponsibility
“``His promise is not that life is free of responsibility. The promise is that you no longer carry it on your own. In ancient farming, it was very common for the farmer to when he would pair his oxen, if he was training one, to pair that younger, less experienced ox with a wiser, older one who knew the commands of the farmer, who under who was strong, already strong, and could could lead the way. And he would actually train the the older, wiser ox would train the younger ox that was yoked with with him in that, in that apparatus, in the yoke. The younger animal would learn by walking alongside the experienced one. This is what Jesus is calling us into. He's saying, join yourself to me. Walk with me. Let me carry the greater weight. We learn his pace, and we learn to follow his lead.”

#EasyYokeGentleLeader
“You know, Christ's yoke fits the life that he's called you to live. Amen? His guidance is not oppressive. His leadership is not harsh. His commands are not destructive. Jesus' yoke is easy, and it's not because his call to discipleship requires a less commitment or it's less demanding. His yoke is easy because it makes us pupils of one who is gentle. He's gentle, and he's humble. He understands. His yoke is easy because we're joined to him, and whatever we face, we don't carry it alone. He bears the weight.”

#TransformedFromWithin
“So rather than following external rules imposed by a system, Jesus offers a transformed transformed life, and he transforms us from within. And we live from that renewed nature under his easy yoke. His yoke is easy, not because discipleship is less demanding, but because we are joined to the one who's gentle and humble, because we never carry the load alone. Under his yoke, we're no longer bound by self imposed laws but by the presence of the one who lives in us and walks with us, and we partner through Christ with Christ through his holy spirit that empowers us.”

#GraceNotSelfEffort
“so Jesus doesn't remove these things, but the the difference is that we no longer are working out of our own self effort to achieve these things. We're joined with Christ. He has already born it. He's carried it. He's paid the price for it. Amen? For the need for us to be right with God. There's no more self effort for self righteousness. It doesn't even help us anyway. It's the we need to become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It's by grace through faith. The burden's already been born. The victory is won. We're joined with Christ because of everything that Jesus has already done, and he empowers us through the Holy Spirit.”

#SurrenderFindsRest
“But when you think about how the yoke works with the animals, with the experienced ox teaching the younger one, What kind of a picture can you imagine if the younger ox decides that he can probably work it out, and he knows the pace to set. He understands what the father's saying complete the the farmer's saying completely. And he'll set the pace, and he'll turn when he's ready to turn. It's not going they're not gonna get the job done. The yoke won't be easy. The burden will not be light, will it? The young ox has to completely commit to the leading and the teaching of the ox that knows. The ox that knows the farmer's commands, who understands how to pull the load and the job that needs to be done. The more completely we surrender to Christ, the more we discover his rest.”

#BurdenLiftedTestimony
“I remember I've read this scripture many times, but last year, there was something in particular that I was experiencing, it was a heavy burden. It was to do with responsibility. So there wasn't something that was taken away, but it was it felt crushing. I struggled with it for some time, and I was talking to the Lord. one day when the weight just felt like I wouldn't, I was gonna get crushed under it, he said to me, you're carrying a burden you weren't meant to carry, and it broke instantly. Nothing necessarily changed in the situation around me instantly, but the weight of the burden was gone because I remembered who I was yoked with.”

#YokeThatFitsYourLife
“And he never calls us to do more we're able to bear. The yoke that he gives us, it fits perfectly the life that he's called us to live. So today, I ask you this question. Are you weary, maybe, burdened, carrying something that feels overwhelming? It can be family, work, community, business, or maybe something that's you're just putting we can put things upon ourselves as well. It's comparison. Doubt, fear, these things also weigh us down, but Jesus has borne everything. He did it. He bore our sin so that we can become the righteousness of God in Christ, but he's also born your weakness, your pain, your sorrow, your sickness, everything. He's carried it all. You don't have to carry it any longer.”

#HeUnderstandsAndGuides
“He understands our struggles. He understands your temptations. Unlike the proud religious leaders who used authority to burden the people, Jesus uses authority to serve, guide, and restore. Amen? As we walk yoked to him, we learn his ways. And he says in this process, we find rest. You find rest for your soul. We learn to trust instead of anxiety. We learn grace instead of striving, faith instead of self reliance, and humility instead of pride.”
