God calls His people to take the limits off because Christ has made them new creatures, seated with Him in heavenly places. The old self, the old shoes, the old failures, and the old excuses do not fit anymore. Christ in them is the hope of glory, so natural ability cannot be the measure of what God can do. God’s unlimited life on the inside of them calls them to quit looking back and start looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of faith.
The Word of God gives believers a new way to see every need. God has already met every need, but His people must quit meditating on the report, the doctor, the bills, the fear, and the circumstances more than they meditate on Him. The desire of God grows strong when believers delight themselves in Him, because He puts His desires in their hearts and brings them to pass. The Word must be lived, breathed, spoken, and replayed until it comes out of them naturally.
Jesus remains present in every part of life. Adam and Eve walked with God in the cool of the day, but Christ lives in believers so they can walk and talk with Him all day long. The body of Christ also strengthens faith through agreement, prayer, and staying hooked up with people of like precious faith. God’s healing power is not merely for private relief, but for believers to become a blessing and a conduit of His life to others.
Mark 4 makes the issue plain: “the sower soweth the word.” The sowing is ongoing, not a one-time deal. God’s Word is incorruptible seed, and whatever gets sown will grow. The cares of this world, offenses, persecution, and constant rehearsing of negative circumstances can choke the seed, but the good ground hears, receives, and bears fruit. Faith must refuse to keep going around the same mountain.
God calls His people to roll their cares over on Him and let Him do His work. Healing, provision, breakthrough, and victory come as believers lock into the Word, believe it, receive it, and fight the good fight of faith. God is quick and powerful, and He is ready to manifest His glory where His people sow His Word and refuse to let it go.
Key Takeaways
- 1. Take the limits off God
Christ’s finished work makes natural limitation an unreliable measure of a believer’s future. The old self cannot define the new creature, because God’s own life now lives within them. Faith begins where believers stop treating past experience as the final word. [41:36]
- 2. Meditate on God’s report
God’s Word must become louder than the voice of circumstances. Fear grows through rehearsal, but faith grows through repeated attention to what God has said. The heart eventually speaks what it has consistently fed upon. [44:42]
- 3. Stay connected for stronger faith
The body of Christ carries a corporate anointing that helps believers stand when private strength feels thin. Agreement does not replace personal faith, but it strengthens believers to keep believing until the manifestation comes. Isolation makes battles heavier than God intended them to be. [50:13]
- 4. The sower soweth the Word
God’s seed must be sown continually into the specific places where breakthrough is needed. The Word is not a one-time encouragement but a daily supply that must take root. Good ground receives the Word and keeps it long enough to bear fruit. [1:08:57]
- 5. Let God do His work
Faith does not mean trying to control every outcome or helping God with anxious natural plans. God asks His people to sow, believe, receive, and hold fast to His Word. God Himself brings the increase, and His work can happen quicker than expected. [1:20:16]
