78s
“``I know people have hurt you deeper than I can ever imagine. I know some of you are experiencing things that just don't quit. Can I remind you where your home is? And I know that doesn't make all the pain and the daily, moment by moment, second millisecond by millisecond, whatever, doesn't make that struggle any less. I I understand that. What it does do is it reminds you that this is not the end. And what's awaiting you in heaven is so much better than you could ever imagine. There will not be any more sorrow. There will not be any more pain. There will not be any more tears.”
66s
“And here's why, don't leave me. The persecution is not the end. Any persecution you and I may go through is not the end. You say, well preacher, why do you say that? Our reward is in heaven. Don't forget that. Whatever people may say or do to us because we are standing with the Lord just takes us a little bit closer to Jesus. The end of verse 12 grounds us even more where the bible says, they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Can I tell you? When you're being persecuted for righteousness sake, you're in good company.”
72s
“We say, well, I don't wanna be merciful or I I can't be merciful because I'm hurt. I have good reason to give them what they deserve. And yet, I wanna issue the challenge that Jesus issued, and that is to be merciful. Do not what they deserve. Well, why should I be like that pastor? I'm so glad you asked. I don't have a valid answer for you, but Jesus does. Look again at verse seven. Blessed are the merciful. The end of verse seven says, for they shall obtain mercy. You see the one who is merciful, Jesus said, I didn't say it. Jesus said, receives mercy. May I remind those of us who have been born again, we have already received God's mercy in giving us salvation. Blessed, oh the happiness of those who are merciful.”
91s
“And so if I'm not being merciful, That's sin. Can I say it again? That's sin. Now, that's not the end of the world, but believers here's our opportunity to confess that sin to Jesus according to first John one nine. Ask him to forgive us with the promise that he will forgive us and there's so much more to that promise and cleanse us from, say it again, three letters sounds like all. All unrighteousness. I didn't want you to miss that, okay, because what? Paul, I I didn't wanna say Paul and you go, Cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That's the only way even those of us who are believers can be pure in heart. Can you hear me this morning believer? If you're holding on to bitterness, ungodliness, sinfulness in any way, form, or fashion, Today is your opportunity to be blessed and become pure in heart. Not because you showed up and heard this guy talk, but because you have the opportunity to confess that is sin before the Lord. Receive his forgiveness and his complete cleansing.”
