Day 4: Made into a Treasure Through Christ’s Love
Our brokenness and failures can make us feel worthless, like damaged goods with no purpose. Yet, the gospel tells a different story. Through His sacrifice, Jesus takes our shattered pieces and lovingly puts us back together. Like the art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is mended with gold, our wounds and scars are not hidden but are transformed into testaments of His grace. In Christ, we are not discarded; we are restored and made valuable, becoming treasures in the hands of our God. [01:03:42]
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17, ESV)
Reflection: How does seeing yourself as a treasure restored by Christ’s love, rather than a broken object, change the way you view your past mistakes and present struggles?
