#LambOfGodRedeems
“``Jesus came and gave himself as the only perfect and satisfactory payment for sin. Humanity and even creation itself now fallen into sin could not pay the price because only the perfect sacrifice would do. Jesus, the lamb of god who takes away the sin of the world was our only hope. And Jesus' love for us was such that even though he had everything and needed nothing, he loved that which he had made and knew the potential there within us for eternity by his grace, and he gave his life for us. Without his gift, there was nothing that we could do to save ourselves. But since he has saved us, he gives us his holy spirit to redeem and to recreate god's glorious image within us. What once was lost is fully restored and renewed. And our relationship, our friendship with the living God once cut off and broken is indeed restored.”

#BetterDaysComing
“Can you believe that? They seem so much here. But just wait till you see what is coming. When you may be tempted to become arrested in time with that hurtful occasion or event, look ahead and remember that better days are coming. Your lord Jesus is bringing them. They're as certain to you as was his own death and even better as certain as Jesus' own victory and resurrection.”

#EternalLifeAhead
“When times get tough here, look ahead to the day when all the crying, all the pain, all the tears will be gone, And we will receive in all fullness eternal life. Body and soul united in the perfect human being, and how amazing to discover that what we were always meant to be is at last realized in a glorified body, in a restored and glorious world. In the meantime, we wait anxiously looking ahead to the fullness of life. What we are is only a shadow of the glorious creation that we are to become. Thanks be to God who gives us his victory over sin and death through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

#SufferingIsTemporary
“All of those. All of those infirmities of living that bring us such pain. Paul says, the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Next to what God has in store for us and all those who have put their trust in him through his son, those sufferings will seem as god's in God's time, like the gnat that swatted away, like the sneeze quickly passing, and annoyance. Can you believe that? They seem so much here. But just wait till you see what is coming.”
