#DebtTooBigJesusPaid
“In preparation for this message for you, I was reading about a man in Utah, a businessman in Utah who filed for bankruptcy. His debt was 613,000,000,000, b as in bananas, $613,000,000,000. His assets were only $7,310. Friends, there's no way in the world, there is no way in the world, no way in the world can that man repay that debt. Do you agree? Do you agree? Now look right with me. No one moved, look carefully. I had a debt much more than that. I had a debt much more than that. After billion, trillion, whatever the numbers are, I had a debt much deeper than that. But friends, I came to Jesus and Jesus forgave me of my debt.”

#HopeAtTheCross
“Now, write this down. When Jesus went to the cross let me share these three things too with you. When Jesus went to the cross, Jesus fully, completely eliminated the sin and conquered death, hell, and the grave. John one twenty nine, John the Baptist, when he saw Jesus coming down, behold the lamb of God which taketh away some of the sins of the world. Read the read the text pastor. Behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. Now, if you're here this morning, it is not my purpose nor intention to make you feel guilty. That's the Holy Spirit's work, not mine. The spirit convicts and not me. But friend, if there is any known sin in your life, I'm telling you, you are not doomed. Friend, there is hope for you. There is hope for me. Go to the cross, confess your sins, let Jesus eliminate the sin that's in your life.”

#NailedToTheCross
“Thirdly, what is the salvation from the stain? In Colossians two fourteen, the bible says, blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us and took it out of the way. Here it comes. Nailing it. Nailing it. I'm a say it again. Nailing it. It didn't say legalism. It didn't say circumcision. It said, nailing it to cross. Jesus, the lamb of God, was nailed to the cross of Calvary willingly, lovingly, obediently. Jesus sacrificially, lovingly, and unconditionally went to the cross for you and for me.”

#SinIsPowerful
“Sin comes from the devil. Number two, what is the strength of this stain? Look at Colossians two fourteen. The bible says, blotting out the handwriting of ordinance, the death, that was against us which was contrary or hostile to us. Friend, is a hostile and negative conflicting foe in our life. Now friend, don't ever get the idea that sin is your friend, that sin is powerless, and that sin aids a blessing to your life. All of those are lies. Sin is forceful. It will horribly dominate your life. It will steal your joy. It will rob you of the goodness of life. It will divide your home or separate you from God's plan, it will detach you from the intimacy from God. Let me tell you, sin has power. But friend, it has tragic power.”
