“He didn't bring a come along and honestly, when I think about that moment, it wasn't that I get got stuck in the mud. Obviously, I get stuck in the mud. Ask my wife. That's not the surprise. The surprise and the thing I got mad about was I couldn't fix it and here's what I'm telling you good Christian friends, rejoice. That that is entirely the point. That the point for us in this life as followers of Jesus is that sometimes you're going to find yourself in a place where you cannot do it. You can't fix it. You don't have what it takes to get yourself unstuck from the mud and in those moments, I want you to remember that you have a savior that tells you that sometimes, sometimes, you just need a strong woman with a big truck. Amen”

“We make of it that Jesus is calling us to be intentionally unprepared occasionally in life because if we are always able to take care of ourselves and provide for ourselves and meet everyone of our needs, we are never what that allows us to do is to become very, very isolated. And if there's one problem in today's world is that we have become entirely too isolated. Part of the reason that we're so conflicted and and divided and and always at each other's throats about every little thing is because we're so independent. We don't need each other and because we don't need each other, we can rely on ourselves and divide up and separate from one another and let me tell you, if there's something antithetical to being disciple of Jesus Christ, it is that you can you can do this life on your own. You cannot. A disciple of Jesus is by its very nature supposed to be in community.”
