#BoldEvangelism
“God has to work in the heart of Peter, the evangelist, to go and open his mouth, but god's already working in the heart of the evangelizee of Cornelius by doing the background work. We seem to think it's all our clever activity and ministry. And, if I preach this way and if we have this kind of music and if we have this strategy, then they'll believe. We need to remember, god's already working in the hearts of people all around us. Just be bold. Be obedient. Be bold. Open your mouth, and it's amazing what you'll see.”

#YahwehWorship
“And I... I've pointed this out before. Sometimes when we word lord, we just think it's a generic word for god. No. This is the covenant name of of god, Yahweh. Alright? So then the men feared Yahweh, not their idols, not their relativistic thinking, but they feared the true god, the god of Israel, the god of Jonah. Alright? They turn to him when they see his power and glory. He's in control of this storm, and he can stop the storm. Now, then they offer sacrifice and they make vows. And and let me just point out this worship and these vows are a result of their salvation, not the cause of it. Alright? They're saved by faith, and the result then is worship and making vows. Alright?”

#StormOfMercy
“Jesus is in control of that weather. Now I call this a storm of mercy. God sends a storm of mercy. How can it be... How can a storm be merciful? Well, not to ruin the ending of chapter one, but I'm gonna ruin the ending of chapter one. All the sailors get saved, and god got their attention through this life threatening storm. Right? They all turned to the one true god. Eight hundred years later, the apostle Paul is a prisoner on a Roman ship on the same Mediterranean Sea heading to Rome, and his ship gets hit with a hurricane. Maybe it's the same weather pattern that's been going on for eight hundred years, this gives Paul the opportunity to take charge, and everybody's listening to him as they're soaking wet and the waves are crashing, and he talks about the true god. I'm sure many of them place their faith in Jesus.”
