#GuardYourMind
“You and I cannot control the thought that popped in. We can definitely control if we continue to think about it or not. I'm gonna say that one more time. We can't control what pops in, but we can control if we continue to think about it or not. In Spanish, there's a saying, I've been hearing since I was a little kid, I'm gonna say it in Spanish, and then I'll translate it to to English. All right? And this is what it says. You can't stop a bird from landing, but you can prevent it from building a nest. And so a thought may come, but you know what scripture says? Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.”

#HolisticStewardship
“But it started with stewardship, and you and I need to understand that, yes, stewardship applies to finances very heavily, but it also applies to my body and when I get on the scale. It also applies to my body and what I consume. It also applies to my mind and what I let my mind fester on and think about and meditate on. And it applies to my family with my wife and my children, and it applies to my giftings. And when we're storing all those things well, there's a joy that comes because there's joy in stewardship.”

#RepentAndChange
“I've got I wanna share this news with you. This is good news. You may have walked in today a horrible steward. You may have walked in today where God would look at you and say, you wicked and slothful sir. This is the good news. You can acknowledge that right now and look at God and say, I haven't been a good assort of what you've given me, God. I repent for that, and I'm changing today.”

#FamilyFirstSteward
“But if I don't work on it, if I don't sort it, you know what would happen if my family gets in shambles and ruins? All of y'all gonna point the finger, but I thought you were a pastor. Yep. I am. But the circle goes like this. God is right in the middle. My wife is the second ring. My children is the third ring. Everything else is after that. And we all need to do that. Some of us in here, we're having issues in our marriages or with our children because we're married to our jobs first. And that needs to change. You are stewards of your family.”

#PoorStewardshipCosts
“if I had taught it to them at that point. Okay? So we teach how to stored in the little because if you can stored the little, then comes the more. Here's the other point I want you to understand this morning, and I know this hurt, but it's the truth. Poor stewardship will cause us to lose what's been entrusted to us. I'm gonna say that one more time. Poor stewardship will cause us to lose what has been entrusted to us.”

#FaithfulWithLittle
“Church, if you're not faithful with 10, you're not gonna be faithful with a 100. And if you're not faithful with a 100, you'll never be faithful with a thousand. And there's way too many people that say, Oh, when I make more money, then. When I make more money, then. When I make more money, then I'll start tithing. Then I'll start being generous. Then I'll start being that. No. Start faithfulness now. Same thing with your children. Teach it to them now.”

#FaithfulnessBringsIncrease
“good stewards are given more to steward. You want to be prosperous and grow and blunt the blessings of the Lord? Steward well what he has deposited in your life right now. Because if you're not storing it well now, how is he gonna trust us with more? How many of you at work did a good job on something so they gave you more work? Anybody? You're like, why they giving me more work? Well, you did good. Same principle applies. He who does good is given more.”

#DelayGratificationWins
“Because here's the reality of it. There are many people that cannot afford groceries, but if you look at their bank statement, they went to Starbucks 13 times this month. Nothing against Starbucks. But if you can't buy rice, beans, and chicken, you shouldn't be spending $6 on a cup of coffee. And many times, the reason we're not able to walk into a blessing that God has or we have missed it out on is because we said yes to a momentary pleasure. And now we can't walk into an everlasting blessing.”
