#StewardshipShift
“``Jesus was basically a pass through for the gifts of God to the world. So what if we shifted our thinking a little bit? What if we stopped looking at everything we have as something to possess and started to look at it and all of those things as something that we have been entrusted with. Then what happens is our mind shift our our our mindset shifts from from possession to stewardship, from a this is mine to this has been entrusted to me. And I think what this move does is that it it moves us to take responsibility now for what God has placed in our hands.”

#EntrustedToBless
“Think generosity begins whenever we first give our ourselves to the Lord. So today, I'm gonna challenge you. Whenever you walk out those doors, when you grab your keys, you drive home and walk into your house, sit on your couch, spend time with your family, and you make your plans, and you go to to your job and use your money. Remember, none of this is mine. My life, my time, my children, my friends, my money, my resources, my abilities, my church, all of it has been entrusted to us. So don't ask, what do I own or how much can I get? Ask what has God entrusted me with and how can I use it to bless others?”

#EverythingOnLoan
“Stewardship moves us to realize that everything we have been given is on loan. Everything is temporary. I think it's important we know that. I did a funeral for a sweet lady on Tuesday, and those always remind me everything is temporary. Our life, our relationships, our jobs, our family, our possessions, temporarily on loan. So steward them well. Care for them as if they belong to God because they do. And when you have them in your hands, treat them as if they were holy. Even the job you hate, treat it as if it's a holy moment and do your work. Be responsible. Bless your employer. That's what you've been called to do. That's kingdom work.”

#PutGiftsToWork
“Generosity is participating in God's kingdom work. And the king said specifically, put this money to work until I come back. It was never about the mina. The issue here is participation. The servant, he may have possessed the gift for a while, but he did absolutely nothing with it. And because of that, no one was helped, blessed no one. In fact, you could say he even relinquished his responsibility.”
