This message is for you too. Now, I understand you may not have a lot of money. If you got a job, you got money, but if not, your money's in mom and dad's pockets. Isn't that right? Then mom and dad says, don't mention that. But you've got time and you've got talents and you do have treasures. It may not be money, but there are other treasures in your life. [00:28:45] (28 seconds)  #TimeTalentsTreasures

Now, many of you here own a home. You have a car that you have a title to. You're either making payments to the bank or you have the title, it's free and clear, it's got your name on it. You may own other things, you have worked to earn money, you've gone and bought things and you think of them as your own. And you hope when you loan it to the neighbor that they will not think the same thing and keep it. That they will give it back to you. But I'm here to tell you, we as believers need to understand our names may be on it, but we're not the owners. God owns everything. [00:35:19] (47 seconds)  #TemporaryPossessions

So, everything, you and I belong to god. We are not our own. When we give our heart and life to god, we become his and us and everything we have belongs to him. So a Christian should be able to understand because God owns everything, we are actually, the second point of the message, we are actually stewards or caretakers. ``You could do ministry in a lot of ways throughout every single day. Doing ministry is not about just do serving the lord on Wednesdays and Sundays. You can be doing ministry in the public in the public world on your job. You see someone upset or crying or struggling. You can go up and pray for that person. You don't have to know what's going on. They don't have to tell you their life story. They might want to. But but you can take time to listen. You can take time to pray for someone. [00:41:30] (36 seconds)  #EverydayMinistry

The thing that I learned a long long time ago, people always say, well, I'll pray for you. I used to say that. I'll pray for you. And you know what? I never did. I got busy and forgot. If you know somebody needs prayer, take the time right then and there and pray for them. It doesn't matter where you are. In the grocery store, at the gas station, in the mall, at work. Take a moment. Invest some time where it matters most. [00:42:06] (42 seconds)  #PrayInTheMoment

God has given each of us a spiritual gift. That's a treasure and that's something that needs to be used. Most folks don't use it because they don't know what it is. So, folks, if you don't know what it is, I'm telling you, talk to pastor Will, talk to me, talk to pastor Jeff, talk to Tyler, talk to your ministers. We'll be more than glad to to help you figure out what your spiritual gift is. There's ways of going about doing that. And then once you know what that is, plug it in. Plug it in. There's like 19 different spiritual gifts mentioned in the Bible. I guarantee you, I promise you, you've got at least one of them. [00:43:07] (46 seconds)  #DiscoverYourGift

And it's given to you by god through the spirit on what he wants you to have. You should never want what the gift that somebody else has. Boy, I wish I could do that. You know, playing an instrument, that's not a gift. That's a talent. A spiritual gift is like service and helps, hospitality, teaching, preaching, evangelizing. They these are different types of spiritual gifts. What they're doing up here is needed. [00:43:52] (30 seconds)  #SpiritualGiftsMatter

God sees and knows everything we're doing. He knows what we're thinking and feeling. It's important for us if we want his hand of blessing, if we want his unmerited favor in our lives, we just gotta be obedient to his word. This is just one area. But I'm telling you, God will provide. But how God provides is through you and me giving. And then God's ministry is blessed by that because the funds are there to help the ministry, god's kingdom work get done. [00:49:50] (41 seconds)  #GivingBlessesMinistry
