Peter's letter is rich with the theme of knowledge, urging us to grow in both experiential and precise understanding of God. This knowledge is not merely intellectual but deeply relational, inviting us to experience the divine nature and live out a godly life. [00:04:32]

He tells us that we are given uh our Hab the opportunity to be given his divine nature a Godly nature he promises that to us and that through knowledge and applying his knowledge we can live that out in fact that's the the memory verse I gave you to M anybody get that down anybody keep working on it keep working on it. [00:05:51]

His divine power has granted to us all things for life and godliness that's how it starts out for life and godliness he promises that that we can be part of that we can have that in him and in his this relationship with him and so he tells us also then to beware of false teachers. [00:06:41]

The Lord is not slow about filling his promises as some count slowness but he does not he's patient towards us not wishing anyone to perish but all to come to repentance this is a a major thought in his in his letter we are waiting also then for the new Heaven and the new Earth. [00:07:22]

Therefore beloved since you are waiting for these be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish and at peace and count the patience of Our Lord as salvation just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given to him. [00:08:11]

Be diligent about moving away from sin okay that's the spot or blemish okay pretty simple would again is that reference of sin in your life we want to move away from those things and we're when we're working to follow Jesus and move away from those things ultimately we will find peace. [00:10:11]

Count the patience of the Lord as Salvation And if you're an underliner or circl or whatever highlighter underline that word salvation there he says just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him but again remember this this idea of patience right here in this verse. [00:15:15]

Take care that you are not carried away with error of Lawless people and lose your own stability his final verse his final words but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to him be glory both now and to the day of eternity. [00:20:02]

Don't forget the blessing of God's patience because count it patience count it patience of the Lord as salvation he's patient towards us because he wants people saved amen and amen number three third way we can kind of stay on the course here number three says say take care not to be led away. [00:24:05]

Embrace God's call to Fellowship uh you may have heard the old saying Fellowship is more than just pie and coffee in the basement of the church it really is or in our lobby or wherever you want to have it these days Fellowship is a deep word of of called coia in the Greek and it it's it's a it's a partnership. [00:32:11]

Embrace God's call to mission to the Bible tells us five times in all four gospels in the book of Acts that we are to go and make disciples basically to go and and continue to te Teach and tell his word and so that others might become he's waiting right and we're supposed to be on mission for that. [00:32:11]

Embrace God's call to his holy word again I can't can't overemphasize enough about reading the scriptures reading them daily and if you're new to it we can help you give you a plan help you understand it a little better we want to do all those things because in this book there is life not just life here now. [00:32:11]
