#ConfessAndHeal
“``But think about the enemy. He is trying to tell you, don't confess anything to the Lord. Do you really wanna confess that to God? You think it's gonna make him happy if you do that? And on the flip side, the Lord's like, I'm slow to be angry at you. I have a steadfast love for you. So, yeah, will you just confess this sin to me so that I can make you whole again? I can wash you from the inside out. So the enemy is like, keep your mouth shut. The Lord said, just come to me. Don't confess anything. He says, confess all to me. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. When you confess sin to a brother or sister, you will be healed, is what scripture says in James. And so the enemy is saying, be quiet. But the Lord is saying, confess, share what is going on.”

#LightNotShadow
“But, what's even crazier is that even though this is a shadow, look look at that light. It's not dark. It's not a shadow. It's literally lit up. Is that not mind blowing to you? Like, this should be a shadow, but it's my finger's a shadow. In James, it says that he is the father of heavenly lights who does not change like shifting shadows. In first Sean, it talks about he is the light of the world, and there is no darkness found in him. And so Nehemiah, the people are saying, God is good. He is holy. He has done all these miraculous things. He lights the room when there's darkness. There is no shadow with him. And so if you have the light of Christ in you, you're never walking in darkness. You're always walking in the light of Jesus Christ.”

#LightWithinYou
“I had a handful of students come to me at camp, and they were just struggling with their life. And every one of them said, I I feel like I'm alone, and I feel like where I work, I feel like my house, I feel like my room, I feel like everywhere I go, I am just completely in darkness, and I hate it. I just wanna stay here all week. And my heart shattered for them. And then I asked them the most obvious question. Have you repented of your sins? Have you given your life to Jesus? And every one of them said, yes. And I said, and that's the best news ever because here's the truth. There is a light that's been planted in you by the spirit through his word. And so wherever you go, you are literally lighting up the darkness.”

#RememberTheResurrection
“we are trying to be faithful to listen to the voice of Jesus and to obey him at every word. And he's asked us to remember the sacrifice that he did for us, that he died, that he hung on the cross for our sins. The enemy thought he had won and that Jesus was defeated. But three days later, we know the best story ever, that Jesus came to life and is alive forevermore. And so the Lord does not want us to forget this moment in history, the greatest moment ever, that Jesus rose from the dead. And so would you pray with me, Lord?”
