62s
“``Jesus did. Jesus was the faithful man. Jesus was the truly righteous man. Jesus was the truly courageous man. Jesus was the truly humble man. Jesus was the truly loving man. Jesus was the truly obedient man. When we fail, Jesus succeeded. And on the cross, Jesus stood in the ultimate He stood in the gap between a holy and righteous God and a sinful humanity, and he took the judgment that we deserved. He bore our sin. He died on the cross. He rose again in victory. Because of him, our failures can be forgiven. Because of him, our hearts can be transformed. Because of him, we can become the man that God has called us to be.”

“Social media tells us that a man is defined by his followers. The business world will tell you that a man is defined by his salary. Professional athletes are defined by their accomplishments. Politicians are defined by their influence. But when we look at scripture, we sin we see that God measures men differently. You see, God has always been more concerned about character than charisma. He's been more concerned about holiness than he has been about popularity, faithfulness than fame. You see, in the world, we look for the visible, but God looks at the invisible.”

“The goal of biblical manhood is not to be better. It's not to try harder. It's not to do the right things. It's to walk more closely with Jesus. It is to surrender more fully to the calling of Christ. It is to allow the spirit of God to shape our lives into his image. So on this Father's Day, I want you to hear that call. The world needs men of integrity. The world needs men who follow Jesus. Our families need men who lead spiritually, and the church needs men who will remain faithful.”
57s
“Do you notice where it starts? It does not start with wealth. It does not start with influence. It does not start with success. In fact, it starts with a man who fears the Lord. And everything else flows out of that fear of the Lord. The fear of God that he's talking about is not terror, but it is reverence. It is an understanding that God knows all, he sees all, and that he is to be more important than anyone else in your life. The man of integrity does what is right because God is worthy, not because someone is watching what you're doing.”
