#RighteousnessDwells
“No more pain. No more suffering. All gone because righteousness dwells. We should live our lives, live our lives with our eyes on the promised future. So when life is painful, remember, this broken world is not the final chapter. When when doing what is right feels costly, remember, righteousness will dwell forever in God's new creation. When serving Christ seems unnoticed, remember, nothing done in faith is wasted. Nothing.”

#GodIsPatient
“That's the heart of God right there. So when we sit back and we look at everything that's going on in our world like, you come back, this this seems like a mess. And there's your answer. God is patient. He wants all to come back to repentance. He is patient every additional day that Christ does not come back, that he does not return. The gospel can be preached. Lives can be changed. Sinners can repent. Prodigals can come home, and believers can grow.”

#SinfulDesiresExpose
“But why are they? It's not necessarily because they're misinformed. They lack some knowledge or they don't really understand God's word. But as Peter points out, as God points out, there's there's something underneath of it all. They are following their own sinful desires. They are rejecting God's truth because, not because there's no evidence for it, because they don't want truth to govern their lives. You hear that? They don't want truth. They don't want the king of kings to govern their lives. So they push back. They reject. Why? Because they wanna follow their own sinful desires. And that's true for us. When we push back, when we say, I don't like what that says. And because I don't like what it says, I'm not gonna follow what it says. That in that moment, that's our own sinful desires.”
