42s
“``But you see, when God's people pray, miracles can happen because God is good, and he loves us very, very much. So I gotta ask you, is prayer your first line of defense, or is it your last resort? Friends, there is power in prayer, And the lord demonstrated that to Daniel, and he can and will demonstrate his power to you and to me as we call upon him in prayer.”
37s
“Your prayers make a difference. Not only do they affect your own life, they can also affect the course of history. And so above all else, Christians, we should be prayer warriors. You know, unbelievers, they have little connection to god because they are separated from god by sin. But you and I, as believers in Jesus, we have direct access to the most powerful being in the universe through prayer.”
37s
“So why not say, well, pray fervently? Pray a huge, bold, audacious prayer. You know, let Dion Warwick say a little prayer for you. If you remember that song, you just dated yourself. Let Dion say a little prayer for you. Ask your pastor to say a big prayer because there's power in prayer, and your prayers matter to God.”
44s
“Prayer is how we communicate with God, and the answer to prayer is how God reveals himself to us and demonstrates his love for us. In Daniel chapter two, Daniel, his three friends, and a whole lot of wise men were in a whole lot of trouble. And Daniel did what we should all do. He gathered his faithful friends together for a prayer meeting, and he boldly and humbly prayed to the god of heaven. Do you think god answered the prayer?”
