#PartialObedienceDefeat
“``And church, if we wanna receive the key to this, just understand this. It's taught all over the scriptures, and I love how it's illustrated in the old testament, but it's all over the scriptures. If for these folks at this time that partial obedience gradually became spiritual defeat, and that's the issue. Partial obedience gradually becomes spiritual defeat. And this is a real threat to the people of God in every generation. And God knows that there's a battle that is raging for our affections and the struggle between the spirit and the flesh, the things that I wanna do and the things that I know I should be doing. They're real. But God takes compromise seriously and so should you and I.”

#SlowCompromiseLosesLand
“And if you could receive it, Israel didn't lose the promised land in a single moment of rebellion. That's not how it happened. They surrendered it through a series of compromise. It wasn't one day. It wasn't one week. It wasn't one year. It was the it was the daily decisions that they walked out, the choices that they made to depart from God. And and and and you see as I read this that that God brought him into this place, and and he says, man, I've given this to you. Now drive him out. Put that stuff to rest.”

#FaithfulInLittle
“And as Christians, we're to understand that whatever we have is the Lord. Our time, our talent, our children, our opportunities. You you put it in there. Whatever you wanna put. Put the list there yourself. And the question is is, what am I doing with what he's already given to me? He says he was faithful in least, and the little is faithful in much. And I find that so shocking that Jesus is is looking to the little things. Here's a lesson for us, that God builds character and responsibility, but his grace produces the work within us. It's the gospel that brings forth joyful obedience. And we're not to give up the ground that God has given unto us.”

#GuardAgainstDrift
“And yet if we lay this over the entirety of this fellowship, while these are these are questions that are worth asking ourself, We should understand that none of us in this room are beyond spiritual drift. Me as the pastor, the different leaders in this church, mature Christians, or even if you've only known the Lord for a short period of time. The question never is is how I arrive. The question is always, am I faithfully walking in what God has entrusted to me? That's always the question.”
