#SpiritualWarfareIsReal
“So these people that want to dismiss the idea of spiritual warfare, you've lost already because it is a reality, a firm reality that scripture repeatedly makes clear in our lives. And so as young men, as it were, as warriors, we have to step into the battle. He says, I write to you young men because you have overcome the wicked one. And then he writes again, I have written to you reminding them because and he adds, because you are strong and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one. The word of God remains in us so that we can fight the battle and not just fight the battle, but be guaranteed the victory in the battle. He says, because you have overcome the wicked one. And how do we overcome? Through Jesus Christ, the one who overcomes the world.”

#RepentAndReturnToChrist
“Being overcomers because Christ has overcome. if you've allowed the world to creep back in and affect your faith and affect your walk, where you're not effective in the spiritual warfare, you don't feel like you're maturing and you're not having the desire to be in God's word as you were before, You need to repent of that. Turn from that. Turn fully back to Christ. Seek that forgiveness. Step back into the light and have that fellowship restored fully with your heavenly father. And remember that we have every one of those perspectives in our lives every single day. Every day to exhibit that childlike faith. Every day to mature in God's word and our knowledge of who he is, and every day to stand resolutely on God's word and fight against this world and the enemy.”

#KnownByHeavenlyFather
“In this case, we were reminded that we have known God the father, that he has always been faithful. We aren't just forgiven. We have an eternal personal relationship with the God of heaven. Sometimes I think as Christians, we forget that. Sometimes I think we've we take our salvation for granted. But if you're saved and born again, you're a child of God, that means you have a personal relationship with the God of heaven. The creator of all things, the sovereign of the universe, knows you by name, calls you his own, and will never let anything happen to you beyond his will.”

#SecureInSalvation
“But this reality of salvation needs to be settled in your mind for you to be effective in your walk. You can't walk around every day questioning everything you believe, questioning the very reality of your salvation. Am I saved? Am I not saved? That keeps you in a defeated position so that you can never live out the walk that Christ has called you to live in which is a walk of victory because he has overcome. And that is our calling to live in that victory. And so we must make our calling and election sure, not because of us, but because of what he did in his finished work is where we stand on that foundation. It's not how I feel or what I've done or what I continue to do or not do. It is based on the fact that Christ has finished the work. And if we pay placed our faith in Jesus Christ and his finished work, god's word says, you are saved and we need to have that settled in our lives.”
