#EverydayWitnesses
“``Lord, you're not looking for experts. You're looking for a bunch of ordinary, humble people that realize we can't do it without you, but we love people. If you saved us, why wouldn't you wanna save others? So, Lord, I pray for this church. I I want to be bold and say, Lord, by next by next Sunday, I pray for at least five stories of people gathered today and others who stepped out and just shared a little bit. And you know those cards that Hugh rightly so reminds you, those little cards of testimony? Ping a few of those in. Let's, over the next few weeks, have a little testimonies of people stepping out. Not because you have to, not because it's a box you tick to say this is what Christians do. No. Because we love people, and we want them to come to know the person that we love the most in this world.”

“He said, surprise me. Okay. I'll surprise you. So as a true Glaswegian Scottish guy, you have to get a bottle of iron brew, that's for sure, maybe a few cakes. So I come back what's the story, Derek? I'm an alcoholic. I can't get off. Three days a morning, I try and get off. Keep going back. Can I pray with you, Derek? Guys, listen to me. This is not rocket science. I don't have a quali I don't I don't have a special qualification from a university. And just to be a witness. I I keep saying it till you believe me. I'm just an ordinary guy who loves Jesus and wants the holy spirit to fill me to overflow him with courage so that when these things happen, I don't back off. Maybe the only difference between me and you today is maybe you're backing off. You're just as qualified as me.”

#SeeHearGod
“And what does that lead to? What does it lead to when Jesus sees and he heals and then he goes and he moves in the power of his father? What what does it lead to? It leads to other people seeing the power of God and hearing the power of God. Are you with me now? So, Jesus sees and he heals and then he conveys that, the power of the spirit, to people and they go, wow. God's here. that's why when we look at Philip and he preaches, it says, they saw and they heard. And what I'm advocating for us as a family is, I want to see what the father's doing, don't you? I want to hear what the father's saying, and I want us to function out of that place.”

#SeekFirstTheKingdom
“Now, says, when the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed. What I'm advocating today, brothers and sisters, is this. I want a whole gospel. I want to see people forgiven of their sins. I want to see signs and wonders that demonstrate the king is at work. I don't want to just settle for part of it. I want to go for all of it. Now I don't want to spend too long, but there is the mystery of the now and the not yet. I understand that. I understand that the the kingdom has not been consummated in its fullness. Now I get that. But that the scriptures seem to encourage us into believing God for more and more and more and more till ultimately, one day, the whole shebang, the whole thing will be sorted, and the kingdom will be here in its absolute fullness. What I'm not prepared to do is sit back and say, well, you know, the kingdom will just run at its own rate. No. No. No. Seek first the kingdom before your patio. Seek first the kingdom. That's what that's what scripture tells us to do.”
