But never did God intend speaking in tongues to be merely what it is an initial evidence or sign of baptism of the Holy Spirit. He intended it to be a continuing source of strength, edification, spiritual refreshing, and supernatural prayer power. Wow. Ain't that good? Yeah. Man, I'm telling you what. He gave it to the church as a permanent key. We talked last week about this vehicle parked in your driveway that's brand new, has everything belonging to you, but you just leave it sitting in the driveway. But back in the day, remember when you had a car that didn't have any power steering or the power steering went out, you had to turn it real hard? Well, you know, the holy spirit gives us assistive power. Amen? He gives us assistive strength. It's a a source of empowerment to witness, Again, personal edification, spiritual refreshing, and supernatural prayer power. Now who wouldn't want that? would not want that? You don't legally turn you it's legally you are the owner, but you don't turn the key. You just sit there. You don't mess with it. You just look at it. Oh, what a beautiful vehicle. But if you never put fuel in the tank or turn that key, you'll never experience what that machine was actually built to do. Assisted power like a car with power steering. Now cars drive themselves. Hallelujah. We talked about this before, but it's interesting. [00:25:32] (30 seconds)  #StartYourSpiritualEngine Download clip

Some think that speaking in tongues is merely an emotional or psychological phenomenon. No. It's reality. It's considered a spiritual gift inspired by the Holy Spirit. And remember, it is a supernatural gift. You can't understand it here. It's supernatural. And the only way you can get it is receive it by faith and operated it in that way. Speaking in tongues ceased with the early church. No. This is a misconception that the gifts of tongues was only for the early church and is no longer relevant. It's for today.
