#ForgivenAndFree
“``I wonder if there are people under the sound of my voice that are carrying a weight that nobody else knows about. You've explained it away, you've tried to outrun it, but deep down you know what was David was talking about when he said, my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long. You do not have to carry that anymore. The same Jesus who looked at that man and said, son, your sins are forgiven, still receives sinners today. He's not changed. His mercy has not run out. His grace has not been used up.”

#WorshipBecauseForgiven
“Think about rather than rejoicing in what God is able to do through us, we should rejoice in what God has done for us. We're not here to talk about our church or brag on ourselves, but to celebrate the fact that God sent his perfect one and only unique son to live a perfect life and die a sinner's death, and rise from the grave three days later to purchase salvation for us. We worship not because we're good but because we're forgiven. That's something we should never get over and I'm afraid we do. I'm afraid we move on to more mature things or different things. We should never get over the fact that we are sinners that have been set free by Jesus Christ.”

#RepentAndBelieve
“Some of your problems are not because there's something wrong with you. It's because you're running away from God. It's because you're rejecting his plan for your life. It's because you're ignoring what his word says. And you don't need a plan. You don't need an approach to forget the past. You don't need boundaries or whatever buzzword is popular. You need your sins forgiven by God through Jesus Christ. And when we get to that point, we're able to walk uncondemned and freer than we've ever been before. There are no greater words to hear than, Son, your sins are forgiven you. Follow Jesus, repent, and believe the gospel as you hear those words this morning.”

#JesusBeyondLabels
“You can't put Jesus in a box though. He doesn't do things the way we think he should. He's bigger than you think he is. If you worship a God that can be figured out, then he's not worth worshiping. And so, what do we know for sure? This man has nothing to offer Jesus. He can't come on his own power. He doesn't come bragging about all that he's done or all that he's accomplished. He only comes seeking mercy. And when you come that way, God is gracious to meet you where you're at and give you more than you deserve.”
