#JesusSaviorNotInfluencer
“``See, while while the influencers are trying to get people to follow them and to like them for their own agenda, Jesus wants to get your attention to give you eternal life. While we we hear the bells to ring the sound good in here, Jesus is sounding the trumpet many people follow him. Two thousand years later, people still follow him in many languages. Jesus is not an influencer. He's a savior. He's a redeemer. He's the king of kings. He's the lord of lords. He's the I am who I am. And you know why he's who he is? Because we need him.”

#TenderSoilTenderHeart
“The sword is still walking in the fields today. The seed is still good. Notice that the seed is always good no matter no matter where it falls. Isaiah says that he he will accomplish what was intended. That's why we're here because that seed had created in us a life of faith. This this sword is still scattering the word around our community. There are people who are leaving this place to their countries saying, I saw the sea. The question remains, is my heart tender for the seed to produce what was intended. Jesus, we pray like king David. Search my heart, my heart, and soften my heart that I may have a heart for you. And as we go from this place, let your word continue to produce the fruit that it was intended to.”

#LivingWaterNourishes
“The question remains, is my heart tender for the seed to produce what was intended. Jesus, we pray like king David. Search my heart, my heart, and soften my heart that I may have a heart for you. And as we go from this place, let your word continue to produce the fruit that it was intended to. We thank you, Jesus, for being so patient. We thank you because you call yourself the living water. Thank you because the water nourishes the seed. We thank you because that seed does not depend on us but depend on you and your promise. Make our hearts soften to your word. In Jesus' name. Amen.”

#HearAndFollowJesus
“Two thousand years later, people still follow him in many languages. Jesus is not an influencer. He's a savior. He's a redeemer. He's the king of kings. He's the lord of lords. He's the I am who I am. And you know why he's who he is? Because we need him. He knows what we need best. He has provide for us. The question is still we ask is, now that you hear Jesus, it's not that the crowd didn't hear Jesus. The question is deeper. Will you hear him today? Will you hear him tomorrow? And will you follow what he's leading you to do?”

#HardenedHeartDistracted
“Notice, this isn't a heart that rejects god loudly. Okay? It's a heart that never lets the work sink in at all. You it's one thing for you to to hear, another thing for you to listen. It's a heart that never lets the work sink at all, hardened by traffic, by routine, by distraction, by a thousand footsteps, walking over and over every day. Satan does not have the to fight for the heart. Look look listen to this. He just had to wait for a few minutes because he knows when the seat comes down, it bounces off because it's such a hard ground. Brothers and sisters, this is what god is telling us today. And the word for understanding has two parts. Means meaning together, meaning to send or to put together or to to bring them together to understand. He is not talking about understanding is not talking about you to trying to be intellect and to have all the knowledge. It's that's not what he's saying. He's saying that you cannot put the two things together.”

#SoulsNotMoneyMinistry
“If money was the case, Jesus said, you know what? I'll need you to learn how to make money because that's the only way you're gonna make it. And that's not the truth. Without me, you can do nothing. It's what Jesus what we need. This Jesus who tells us that we can be fooled by this world by letting the world tell us how to do ministry according to the corporate world. But see but we have a good way to excuse ourselves. I mean, let's be honest. We are not good up about saying I'm sorry. I don't know about you, but I'm not good at it. I don't have to make a good habit of saying I'm sorry. I did screwed up. I see that. I see what you're saying. You're right. I'm wrong. We don't call it choking our faith. We call it proving for my providing for my family. We call it we're building a security for the church. We call it, our account is on zero, so we need to be responsible. Money isn't what we are here for. It's souls that we're here for. The souls of people.”

#GraceNotPrice
“And what god is telling the people back then is that don't let me dust that deceive you. What he's trying to tell us right now is that don't let money deceive you. You can have the money ministry. You can have ministry and not have the money. Ministry is not about the money. Ministry is about lives being transformed by the power of the holy spirit through the means the holy spirit and god has provided. How many of you pay for your baptism? How many of you pay for your first communion or the first time you had commune how many of how many of you had to pay for communion today? It's free. It's free. So what we receive by grace, we give by grace. Why we let those thorns why we let those things of this world deceive us thinking that what we need for ministry is money?”

#WealthCanBeAThorn
“A lot of people think that wealth is not a thorn. And and sometimes we try to accumulate wealth because in a sense, we find security in the wealth. We see a future with wealth. Without wealth, without money, we don't see any future. And what god is telling the people back then is that don't let me dust that deceive you. What he's trying to tell us right now is that don't let money deceive you. You can have the money ministry. You can have ministry and not have the money. Ministry is not about the money. Ministry is about lives being transformed by the power of the holy spirit through the means the holy spirit and god has provided.”

#ChooseTheNarrowWay
“Because we are real good about walking the path that has been set for us before. We don't wanna start a new path. We don't wanna go on a new path because the the regular path Jesus cocks himself one way. I am the way, the truth, and the life. He has said it. I am the door to you. Why do we keep doing another way? I know I believe in Jesus. I've been in the scripture, but why do we keep going the other way? With our mouths confessed, but with our hearts denied. We go out there and then the sun will hit us, and then the persecution starts, and then we go like, I don't know if this is I wanna play safe. I wanna go in the in the path that is shorter and that is safe. And Jesus even says that there are two paths. One is wider and one is narrower. He is the narrow one. Why? Because that's our intuition. We had to realize that we have a tendency to do things that goes against what god wants. Jesus is not an influencer even though we will name him an influencer.”

#DontMakePathsOverSeeds
“What are the things that god has planted a series on you that you keep stepping on? What are the paths that you are taking that god doesn't wanna you know you you don't wanna go that you shouldn't be going that way, but he just pastor, it's just easier. I'm just getting older. So I just wanna take this path because it's the most convenient path. It's the path that I'm used to because everybody walked through there. Nobody's perfect. Jesus is aware of that, and he's putting it right here. He's he's telling you that that there, you're making a path, and in the hard path, it's hard to let the sea grow.”

#GetOutTheWayLetJesusLead
“What about the good soil that speaks in there? I understand that bears fruit all the time, forty, sixty. What is the good soil? The good soil the person that stays away from walking against what was already intended. The promise that we always wanna do the opposite of what we're called to do. So what what I'm telling you is if you can if you and me can just get out of the way, Jesus will have it all his way. But the promise is not is that we don't let him get his way. And he's not trying to be a dictator sitting like like the Roman Empire sitting in a big chair with gold ring and a bee standing here. He's like, you do this. He knows how you and I work the best. He knows what makes us laugh. He knows what makes us sad. He knows what we will do for eternity. And he says, while you're there, do this.”
59s
#FaithRequiresAction
“But he's corrected me. He says, whoever does the will of the father. So, yes, we are forgiven, but there is an action that takes place after you are forgiven. And what is that? To do the will of the father. It's not that we just save, you know, we just lay back and have, you know, peanuts and and crackers, whatever it is, or cheese or or beer or whatever it is, there's a a will to be done. And and and in our life, there's a there's a conflict of the will. In fact, you have your own conflict within your own wills. You have you set yourselves for, I wanna do this, and later on, you say, how can I have done that? So you see there's a conflict always there in the wills, and in your will, and then also in the will of God. If we struggle within our own wills, how can we not struggle to do the will of the divine?”

#CommunityOverAttention
“With our mouths confessed, but with our hearts denied. Jesus is not an influencer even though we will name him an influencer. Our culture is obsessed with attention. In fact, if you look around, sometimes we'll be, why are people not here? Because we are also obsessed with the attention. We feel uncomfortable when we are alone. And that's not what we were created for, to be alone. We were created to be around community, about church family. And that's why we feel uncomfortable when there are not many people at church because we miss the other people.”

#ShortcutsChokeGrowth
“We don't wanna go through the normal procedure sometimes. We just wanna take a shortcut because maybe he's hungry. Maybe the pastor took too long in the sermon. So instead of going this way, just wanna go this way so I get my breakfast ready quicker. So sometimes that path is being walked so long, but at one moment, at one time, that path was not there. It was grass. There was seed in there. And what happened? So many steps that choke the sea. And and that seed decay and that path is not able to produce what it was intended because so many times, so many repetitions do the same thing. Now as we move on, let's reflect. What are the things that god has planted a series on you that you keep stepping on?”

#GodKnowsNotDictator
“And he's not trying to be a dictator sitting like like the Roman Empire sitting in a big chair with gold ring and a bee standing here. He's like, you do this. He knows how you and I work the best. He knows what makes us laugh. He knows what makes us sad. He knows what we will do for eternity. And he says, while you're there, do this. How many times have you had the opportunity to instruct someone or or to tell someone, hey. Do this, and they don't wanna do it, but you know what was the outcome? You are you telling them because you're a dictator? You're a micromanager? No. You're not telling that because of that. Because you know what's gonna happen. And so why do we keep doing everything that god is telling us not to do? Why is that?”

#OwnYourMistakesNotExcuses
“But see but we have a good way to excuse ourselves. #DontBeNeutralForComfort
“What it's saying here is these are the people who go to church on Sundays. But when the sun hits them, things are different. When you are in in in the in in the cubicle, when you are in that country club, when you talk about, well, we don't talk about politics or religions. Let's just be neutral. They just love one another. That's it. But love based on what? It is easier to just be neutral. That way I don't get spell from the contract club or from the cubicle because if I play in the safe path say, no, safe path, then no I had issues, and I make my money or I make my acquaintances. We do that. I do that.”

#WatchYourThorns
“What are the thorns of this life? And you know that I can speak about thorns, but each one of us have different thorns. You have a a thorn that you know what what is there. You have a throne that is not the same as mine? But see, the enemy wants to put a throne on you that he knows that you're gonna deal with, but it's not keeping you on what you should be focused on. When when you see this way of parable that talks about agriculture, and Jesus knows his audience. He knows who he's talking to. He knows you. He knows me very well. And he knows that this parable, two thousand years later, was gonna take place too. That's why he speaks to them. He speaks to us.”

#ListenForJesusNotNoise
“He knows what we need best. He has provide for us. The question is still we ask is, now that you hear Jesus, it's not that the crowd didn't hear Jesus. The question is deeper. Will you hear him today? Will you hear him tomorrow? And will you follow what he's leading you to do? We can hear the noise. We will listen to him. And I wanna ask all of you and me, myself too, maybe we can bow our heads and reflect on this. Reflecting what it means to hear Jesus. Right now, we hear in motor of the AC running. But what what if we had the chance to hear Jesus' accent?”

#GuardTheSeedFromBirds
“When when you see this way of parable that talks about agriculture, and Jesus knows his audience. He knows who he's talking to. He knows you. He knows me very well. And he knows that this parable, two thousand years later, was gonna take place too. That's why he speaks to them. He speaks to us. When we hear the word, it has to do something in us. And and for that, I I wrote it down here because it is so good to see the word, the path. There's a word there that that I read that I wanted to go search deeper. The the word was not understanding. Not understanding. She fell on the hard pack path, and before it came even settled, the birds snatched it away. When you look at birds, that is not always a good symbol in the scripture. Sometimes birds, it refers to the evil one. The birds come and eat it.”
