“Now the first death is physical death, and no one will avoid this. Just saying. And oh, by the way, you're closer to it today than you were yesterday. I'm just here to encourage you. The second death is eternal death. Eternal separation from God. And the only way to avoid the second death is to give your life to the resurrected one, and his name is Jesus. The only way to avoid the second death is to place your faith in the faithful one, and his name is Jesus. The only way to avoid the second death is to faithfully live for the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen?”

“When true persecution and suffering involves fearing torture, real torture, And true persecution and suffering involves fearing imprisonment. Are we getting a hold of this a little bit? This is this should toughen us up. Quit calling your inconveniences and, you know, a relationship breakup persecution. Right? It's not persecution. Real persecution is the fear of losing your life because you proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord. Amen. You know? You say, well, that doesn't happen in America. Well, it's on the way. Yes. Wake up. If you're struggling handling some of the some of the opposition or obstacles today, you're gonna struggle in three to five years when things really get bad for the Christian. Trying to help you a little bit.”

“And if you wanna be a true Christian today hello. What kind of Christian? A true one. Jesus said, if you wanna follow me, you gotta pick up your cross daily. You don't pick up your cross daily? I'm paraphrasing. You ain't one of my disciples, Jesus said. So I'm telling you that one day, those of you who are willing to pick up your cross daily, you're gonna be able to trade that bad boy in for a victor's crown. Either you believe that or you don't.”

“And today, we need to know the scriptures. They don't promise that we escape all suffering. There's a lot of I call them just false prophets that will tell you that when you follow Jesus, all your troubles go away. Right? And you will never suffer face persecution anymore because he will just protect you in this Christian cocoon. Well, I've been waiting for that cocoon and it hasn't shown up yet. You know? Surely not saying that I wake up in the morning and go, yes. I want more persecution. Can I suffer more for your cause today? No. All I have to do is live for Jesus and follow Jesus, and some of the persecution comes my way. It comes with the territory.”
