1. "I have found out in my relationship with Jesus Christ that I've got to have a relationship with him every day. Hallelujah. Every day. Because even as they brought all 10 of them, had their lamps and they came with the lamps. And I feel like when they went, the five foolish lamps were still burning. Just a little bit, but the Bible says that they all slumbered and slept, and then the cry went out, behold, the bridegroom cometh, and you have to know how the marriage was back in that day, but we're not here to talk about that today, we're here to show, hallelujah, when the cry went out, go out to meet the bridegroom, the Bible says that they all trimmed the lamps, all of them, all ten of them, the foolish and the wise, this is telling me that no matter who they are or what they're doing, they had to trim the lamps, now to trim the lamps, you see there's a witch sticking up, to trim the lamps they would take the scissors or knife or whatever they had, they probably didn't have scissors back then, hallelujah, but they were trimmed."

2. "We are going to be a light unto all. and dying world, we the church today, if we've ever realized we need to trim our lamps, why do we need to trim the lamps? When you cut all of this crud off of it, it gives it a clean wick. You see, when that stuff gets built up so high, it can't burn like it ought to. Hallelujah. I'm sure that if you know anything about it, you have trimmed many a wick. You see, it doesn't have much wick in this one. It is not because it was short, it's because of all the trimming, hallelujah, that had to be done to keep that light burning in the dark and the dreary times. But we find that we as Christians, if we've ever needed to trim our lamps, hallelujah, we have come to a point it feels like that most Christians don't want to be seen. Just let me. We walk until Jesus comes, but He didn't call us to walk until Jesus comes. He called us to be a light into a lost and dying world."

3. "How can we have the fire if we don't have the oil? What is the oil? It is the oil of the Holy Ghost. It is. It is faithfulness. It is a persevering over all complications and temptations that Satan may bring your way. We come out victorious. Hallelujah. If we had the lamp with the oil in it, hallelujah, it also at times, no matter how bright this thing was shining, hallelujah, you still got a trench. Hallelujah. I found out, Brother Jerry, in my life, I still have to go to God. I can't do this on my own. Hallelujah. I've got to be... trimmed up and it has to be trimmed up the way God wants it trimmed. You can take this a wick and you can cut it off on an angle and your light is going to burn on an angle."

4. "We can't do it our own in all of our might and all of our smartness and all the things that we try to do without the oil of the Holy Ghost being in our lamps. And so that the fire will burn, we will never make it. We will never go. Hallelujah. And there are at times, there are at times that we'll find that there are hard times in our life. And sometimes our light is just burning. Sometimes it's just there. I mean, there's going through hard times when you say, Lord, where are you? Lord, where are you? Hallelujah. That's when he is saying, because of that oil in that lamp, no matter if you keep oil in this lamp and you keep that light just burning, hallelujah, when the troubles and the trials go away, hallelujah, he'll come back and he'll bring your light to burn and to shine."

5. "I do know that through Him. Through that oil. Being in me. I can let my light shine. may meet someone that's just as honored as it can be. And man, you have to turn that wick up a little bit. So that light will shine a little brighter. Hallelujah. Because that'll get on you. Hallelujah. Turn it up and let that light shine. Hallelujah. And it'll help you through it. Get through it. Sometimes you might have to turn it down. Hallelujah. But I thank God. Hallelujah. That He has allowed us. Hallelujah. That even though we're different shapes. Different colors. Hallelujah. we have different designs on us but there's only one spirit only one oil that will light our fire hallelujah he cannot move in you if you don't have the oil he cannot use you hallelujah as a light if you don't have the oil you can have your blessing you can even be willing to but if you don't get filled with that oil of the spirit of God you can't be a light until lost and died in the world I encourage us hallelujah in these days and times in which we live in hallelujah that we need to trim our lamps and be filled with the oil and I say to you again hallelujah just don't get enough of today get your son to carry with you tomorrow get your son get your son get your son you might have the opportunity to witness somebody and the Bible says that you don't even have to prepare no words for the Holy Ghost will tell you will teach you will show you what needs to be done hallelujah how many needs a little extra how many needs a little more hallelujah of the power and the spirit of God hallelujah that will lead us and guide us and help us to burn glory and to God if you have a call what do you do Miss Ann, you put gas in it."

6. "I like to stay full. Hallelujah. Every time I see a gas station, I'm looking at the price and the thing's going full. I just want to make sure. Hallelujah. That's the way we ought to be as Christians. I don't want to get low enough. Hallelujah, that I don't know whether I'm going to make it or not. Hallelujah. Even when I'm in a hard place, in a place I don't know where I'm at or how I got there, hallelujah, I want to know, hallelujah, that God is with me. I want to know, hallelujah, that He's there. Hallelujah. Nothing wrong with calling the church, calling the pastors for prayer. Everybody needs it. Hallelujah. But to know that has a knower in you that will tell you all you've got. Oh, hallelujah. All you've got to do is trim your lap. Hallelujah. All you've got to be, I have gone in my life as a Christian and not obey God. Don't look at me like that. You have to. That's true. Preaching. God laid somebody, walked by somebody in the store. You ought to pray for them. Right on by. You have to go back and train them. Lord, please forgive me. Let me cut that off so my light is shy. That's right."
