Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being Lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. [00:01:30]

Shepherds make sure that your hand is not too heavy when you lead now look, leadership, and if I could say leadership in the church, it's not easy. Look everybody loves a leader everybody loves a pastor until they have to say no. [00:05:38]

When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the Crown of Glory that does not fade away. Hey, Shepherds, you have a chief Shepherd that you answer to now this should remind the Pastor Elder overseer let's not get hung up on the titles just talk about leaders among God's family. [00:07:16]

Likewise you younger people submit yourselves to your elders, yes all of you be submissive to one another and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. [00:11:29]

True humility is also shown by our ability to cast our cares upon God. It's sort of proud presumption to take things into our worry and to care about things that God has promised to take care of. [00:17:04]

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, being steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your Brotherhood in the world. [00:20:40]

Satan is like a lion who may Roar and he does Roar, but he's been defanged at the cross. Colossians chapter 2 verse 15 says that in his work at the cross Jesus Christ disarmed principalities and powers for those who live in the light of Jesus's Victory on the cross. [00:22:07]

Resist him steadfast in the faith. Look God isn't calling us to be lion catchers he's going to do that but what he says is you stand against him and don't give an inch, resist him, remain steadfast in the faith, resist every lie and threat and intimidation of the evil one. [00:24:53]

But may the God of all Grace, who called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus after you've suffered a while, perfect establish strengthen and settle you. To him be the glory and Dominion forever and ever, amen. [00:27:24]

David there are things that I have to work in your life that are only going to be fashioned shaped molded on the Anvil of some suffering. No no Lord I didn't sign up for that and if we were to say that to God he'd say then you're not a follower of Jesus. [00:29:31]

Peter still said it's worth it there's going to be an eternal reward of glory and according to what I regard to be Fairly reliable Church tradition, eventually Peter was captured arrested, put on trial by the Romans under Caesar Nero, and he was crucified upside down. [00:34:19]

We as sheep have an unbeatable Advantage, we have a chief shepherd and a good shepherd, who will guide us to every victory over every roaring lion. Father we thank you for that, we thank you that even though we are set in this world as sheep in the midst of lions. [00:38:06]
