Joseph, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Samson, the Hebrew boys, David, and the Red Sea all have their place, but preaching is not finished until Jesus is proclaimed. Christ died at Calvary, was buried in the grave, and rose three days later as a mighty conqueror. Jesus lives, saves anybody from anything, and remains Savior, Redeemer, Rescuer, Lord, Light, Helper, Friend, and Door.
