#WholeCounselEverywhere
“He brought to them the whole truth. He says it here that he brings the entire word of God. He didn't hold anything back. And he tells them here how he went from the public to in people's houses, everywhere he went. And we saw a little bit of that in Acts 19 when he went from the synagogue to the house of Tyrannus and preaching the word anywhere and any any to anyone in anywhere that he could get a chance. He wanted to preach the word. And he says to them, he declared the whole council of the word of God.”

#FinishTheRaceForChrist
“As he'll write in the Philippians one, to live is Christ, to die is gain. He knows that going to Jerusalem, he is facing his own death. But as he says later in Philippians three, he counts everything as loss compared to the glory of knowing Christ. He wants them to know that he's going to finish the race. He's gonna complete the ministry, that his face is towards Christ and Christ alone.”

#BloodPaidForSinners
“That blood that was mentioned in verse 28 isn't just symbolic. Christ truly went to the cross for rebels, for enemies, for sinners, and he bore the judgment so that forgiveness could be offered freely. And that's the heart of our lives as Christians. And if you don't know him as savior, that same message, and that's the good news that we preached today. Turn to Christ and know him as savior.”

#GraceIsOurFuel
“But Paul here roots this and says, I'm commending and lifting up to God and to the word of his grace. That is the fuel for life. The fuel for your life with God, the fuel for your life in the church, the fuel for it all is found right in this knowledge of God's grace. Knowing and holding on to this wonderful truth that God, the infinitely holy one, loved lowly sinners like you and like me.”
