“So, the birds are there. They're trusting in God and there they are. They're a happy out. Okay? Do the birds Tell me this. Do the birds sit in the garden with their mouths open waiting for a worm to jump into their mouth? No. Well, I've never seen a bird do that. Anyway, we watch birds a lot, okay, in our garden. You know, no, they don't. They trust. Yes, of course, they trust. It's built into them as God's creatures, okay?”

“Should we feel I feel this very strongly. Should we feel ashamed if we don't know how to do something that we were never taught? I don't think so. Okay? If someone was never taught to read, would you put shame on them? Absolutely not. So but we're sitting there feeling ashamed of something that we were never taught how to do. And I'm just going pop it back to that one actually, if that's all right. Think about this, okay?”

“So, we live in a difficult environment that we simply haven't been taught how to navigate, basically. We know that God loves us, provides for us, and he wants us to to live full lives. Okay? But we're not sure how to do it anymore. So, enter Christians Against Poverty. How do we fight back? We're trusting God. Now, how do we learn to manage those resources that he puts into our hands just like the birds do? So, this is why CAP exists. Christians Against Poverty is the full name.”

“Jesus is very clear. He does not want us to live with worry. I think this is one of the most outrageous things Jesus ever said to ordinary people who were there just trying to get by. said, We can read it there. Look at the birds of the air. He said, Don't worry. He said, Do not worry. Oh, sorry. It's not on that bit. Do not worry about what you will eat or where, which is really just kind of code for everyday life, normal life, getting by. He said, Don't worry.”
