“Well, what are your dry bones today? What are the dry bones in your life? I wanna encourage us today that God wants to do something with all the dry bones in your life, but all it takes is the spoken words, the power of prayer, the power of persistence. Do not give up even if the enemy tells you, no, this situation is done. Keep pressing on. Keep pressing on. Keep pressing on. So I'll end with this. If even a tired unwilling friend will eventually respond because of shameless persistence, how much more will your loving father in heaven respond to his children?”

“The most important thing in your life is your relationship with God. This is what William Barclay said. He said, when we enter into a new relationship with God, the judge becomes the father, the distant becomes the near, strangeness becomes intimacy, and fear becomes love. You see, when we start getting to know God, we start to see different sides of him. You see, when we go out into the world then we and you and you interact with people who don't know Jesus, they see him as a judge.”

“You see prayer is not our way of getting God to do our will here. It's our way of seeing God's will done here on earth. See God wants to answer our prayers but first we need to pray. And in the bible we see so many incredible stories of of God moving so miraculously in amazing ways. We see king Hezekiah at the end of his life. He's praying. He's sick. He's on his deathbed and his life is about to end But he prays a bold, bold prayer, and God answers him and he gets a fifteen year extension on his life.”

“See, in the same way that the pressure in our lungs produces breath, the prompting of God in our lives should produce prayer. See, when we're in relationship with God, that should put enough like pressure on us that we feel that we need to pray. Not pressure in the sense of feeling bad, but pressure as a prompting, pressure as a signal, pressure as a sign that this is what you should be doing. You see every prayer that's unprayed is a prayer that's unanswered. See prayer is so important that when you read through the scripture, it's mentioned at least 250 times.”
