#PackLightTrust
“``The disciples at this point in Matthew are not impressive. They're ordinary people. They have not figured this out yet, and Jesus sends them anyway. look at what he tells them to take or not to take. No gold, no silver, no copper, no extra shirt, no bag for the road, no sandals beyond what they already were wearing, no script, no strategy, no careful rehearsed talking points, no spiritual laws or tracks. He sends them out with essentially nothing, and it's not by accident. It's not just a logistical I am, but I'm asking you to pack light travel light here. He's forming a posture within these people. You don't need more equipment. You don't need more study. You don't need more memorization. You don't need more tools. You just need to trust, be present, and allow the Holy Spirit to work through you.”

#InviteThatMatters
“And here's the thing about here's the thing about personal invitations. They are the most powerful evangelistic and maybe the least utilized. Study after study, decade after decade, when people are asked, what brought you to faith? What brought you into this community? Almost everyone answers because someone invited me. Never, rarely is it a a clever ad campaign or a social media post that they just stumbled across. Rarely is it a an apologetics argument. It's relational. It's someone who knew them, who thought of them, and said, hey, Come and see.”

#ShowUpTrustGod
“You don't need more equipment. You don't need more study. You don't need more memorization. You don't need more tools. You just need to trust, be present, and allow the Holy Spirit to work through you. The posture is you're not in charge of the outcomes. You just have to show up. The posture is the kingdom doesn't travel by the power of your preparation. Let me say that again. The kingdom does not travel by the power of your preparation. The kingdom of heaven travels by the power of the one who sends you.”

#BeAPersonOfPeace
“I will say, and I've said this before, your person of peace is not a target. It's not they're not a project. They're not a checklist. They're not remember, you're not in charge of outcomes. You're just in charge of showing up. They're a friend. They're a friend that you just enjoy being around. And in fact, let me just turn this whole thing on its head for just a second. I wanna challenge you to think about your own life. Are you a person of peace? Are you someone that smiles when someone else walks into a room? Are you someone that can listen more than you can talk? Are you someone that looks for opportunities to serve others around you? Are you a person of peace?”
