#HoldFastToFaith
“Only thing the devil is concerned about is your relationship with God. You can have house, car, and everything. You can have your 40 acres and the mule or two, and God, the devil would not could care less. Check out what he did with Job. He said, Job will curse you to your face. He didn't care that Job had it. He didn't care when Job lost it. All he wanted to know was can Job deny god? And see, some of us, we lose a little something. And the first thing we say, devil is a lie. And we shout over a check or a car or a house when the devil ain't got nothing to do with that. He is not after your house. Devil got plenty of houses if he want it. Devil got plenty of cars if he want it. In fact, he got some of us driving them right now. What the devil wants to know is, will you deny god?”

#IdentityInChrist
“Sometimes we can go down the highway of life so fast, and we can claim spiritual so fast that we don't put on the brakes long enough to realize where spiritual came from. Come on. Come on. Young people today face relentless pressure to construct themselves, curate the right image, achieve the right status, pursue the right goals. But the Christian vision of identity operates on an an entirely different logic. Becoming fully human, having a self or identity is impossible apart from god who saves us. You can't have it apart from the person made us.”

#CreatedOnPurpose
“The question of self identity is as old as humanity. People have been wanting to know who they are ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. Adam and Eve had been tricked into being someone that they were not. God had given them identity before he had given them life. God had designed and predestined all of us before we were even born. God said of Jeremiah the prophet, I knew you and gave you a purpose before I miraculously allowed you to be conceived in your mother's womb. You”

#IdentityStartsWithGod
“Amen. Amen. Amen. Well, if you are in here today, even if you're online, struggling with this thing called identity. Can I tell you? Most people are. Most people are struggling with identity. They're so private and personal that they will never come out and tell you that upfront. But all of us want some kind of significance, importance, recognition, and affirmation. All of us want that. My case to you today is that it begins with your creator.”
