“``God's promises are certain. You see, this in no way negates, does it? The promise that made him when he anointed him. This in no way denies David that he is king of Israel. But what does it do? God's promises are certain, but often his process is gradual. David is true to king, but he's not yet king over Israel. He must reign faithfully. Now this is the important truth. He must reign faithfully in the place that God gives him while he waits for God to open the next door.”

#LeaveZiklag
“When you get saved and you come to know Christ as your savior, you can't live in Ziklag. Right? You can't be like you were. God loves us too much when he gave his son to die for us on the cross, and he and he cleanses us of sin, he loves us too much to do what? To leave us like we are. To leave us in ziklag.”

#LeaveSinBehind
“When we we're studying security of the believer, again, the question often asked, well, if if you're if you're saved and once saved, you're always saved, you're never gonna lose it. God's never gonna take it away from you. Why don't you just keep on sinning? know why you don't keep on sinning? Because a true believer in Christ is not gonna be content living among the Philistine. Right? Living in ziklag. He's not gonna be a ziklagger. He got about he gonna cry out to god and say, I I have to move on. I can't stay here. Where do I go? Tell me. Tell me. Tell me how to get out of the mire. Tell me how to leave my sins behind. Tell me how to change. Tell me how to be transformed. Oh, God. Where do I need to go?”

#ScriptureIsCompass
“You say, well, David here cries out to god. How's he gonna figure out what what god's will? Well, maybe god spoke to him. Right? He said, it's Hebron. I don't know how he told him that. But we often don't get that special direct revelation from God. And we don't need it because we have something a better. We have his special voice, his word for us that's called what? The Bible, the scriptures. If you wanna know God's will, here's the simple way to do it. Know God's word. I mean, that's as that's as clear as we can say it. We don't need special revelation. We don't need a special one else. We don't need signs and wonders. We have his word. That's why he gave us his word.”
