Day 1: The Depth Beyond Sight
Our physical eyes, though a precious gift, have limitations. They can only perceive the surface of things, often missing the deeper truths that lie beneath. This limitation reminds us to rely on God, who sees beyond the visible and understands the full picture of our lives. Our reliance on physical sight can sometimes lead us astray, as it is easy to become fixated on the immediate and the apparent. However, God invites us to look beyond what is visible and trust in His omniscient perspective. By doing so, we open ourselves to a deeper understanding of our circumstances and the world around us. [00:22]
"For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7b, ESV)
Reflection: Consider a situation in your life where you have been focusing only on the visible aspects. How might God be inviting you to see beyond the surface and trust in His deeper understanding?
