#RighteousnessThroughChrist
“``We we heard in in Emma's little note there that if God is righteous in order to go to heaven, I must be righteous. But that can never be a righteousness that is my own, that is of me because I don't I don't have that ability. You see, I always ask the question, how good do you have to be to go to heaven? You have to be as what? As good as god. Can any of you be as good as God? Can any one of us ever hope to be as good as God? No. So our only hope is that his righteousness placed upon us. And that's exactly what happens at the cross. Christ died in your place. He died in my place. And when by faith, I look to Jesus and I say, I need a savior. You know what God does? He takes the righteousness of him who took our place, who bore our sin, and he puts it all over us.”

#RestInTheSon
“And and so he says, I write those things to you who believe, who rest, who settle in the name of the son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. What is believing there? It is resting in Christ. It is putting all in him. It it is complete trust. In the name of the son of god. When you believe like that, Paul will say it another way in Romans chapter 10. When you believe in your heart, right? And then that comes bubbling out of your life in your words. But when you believe in your heart, what? shall be saved. You shall be saved. That's the believing that is sitting on that chair, resting in Jesus Christ. And in that, we have assurance. We have the promise that we will be saved.”

#FaithIsTrust
“Does that make sense to you? I know that Christ can save. I know that Christ will save. I know that he came to the cross to to forgive me of my sin, but but all of that knowledge all of that knowledge doesn't save me until I what? Until I rest in him. Until I rest on him. I know the chair will hold me up. I know the chair is a secure place for me, but when do I really know it? When I rest in it. When I sit on it. That's faith. That's faith.”

#SecureInChrist
“Can you imagine trusting in a god and a savior who can't complete what he begins? That's that's that's that's foolishness, isn't it? So I have the assurance that once I come to know Christ as my savior and true saving heart belief that he has the ability, he has the power, he has the beings to fulfill and to keep what he has promised. Romans eight one says, there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are where? Christ Jesus. This is a clear declaration that the believer the believer standing before God is secure in Christ.”
