“``If if if if Jesus relied on the word, how much more should we rely on the word? I mean, scripture alone is sufficient, but it does not need additions. It doesn't listen, scripture don't need your upgrades. You don't need your extra downloads. When the word is preached, it brought you to salvation. Yet today, we often allow culture to shape how we interpret scripture. Instead of allowing scripture to confront the culture, we allow culture to shape scripture. And when I talk about culture, yeah, I'm talking about every essence of which y'all claim culture to be. Right? Truth is, all 66 books stand against the spirit of this world.”

“You want to know what our young people need? They need the gospel. Go in your house and talk about what Jesus did. How he rose on the third day morning with all power in his hands. You want to know what the world needs? The gospel. The gospel was good enough for your grandmama. It's still good enough for your babies right now. I'm trying to get y'all to get that. You ain't gotta add to it. The virgin birth, the sinless life, the death of Christ, his bodily and bold resurrection, his ascension, his second coming. That's the gospel.”

“The one, Jesus Christ himself, who spoke the word, inspired the word, moved men to write the word also then used the word himself. I'm a say that again. I said it too fast. The one who spoke the word in the beginning was the word. John one and one. And the word was God and the word was with God. Right? I mean, so the one who spoke the word is also the one who inspired the word. He's also the one who moved men to write the word and also used the word himself. Jesus quoted scripture in Matthew chapter four. When Satan came to tempt him, Jesus did not respond with philosophy. Jesus did respond with clever arguments. He did not respond with human reasoning but he answered with scripture. The word used the word.”

“It's amazing that folk want something deeper when they haven't even graduated on this level yet. You ain't even passed this class. Right? That's like that's like you don't even know math, but you're go to calculus. Learn the basic fundamentals of math, then you'd be able to handle some of the other levels. Right? It's interesting. Many groups call themselves Christians always feel the need to look at another to try to justify their faith. They gotta have another revelation in order for them to realize who God is, another source of authority in order for them to realize. But God has already spoken. God has already said what he had to say. He said what he said. He intends to say through through these 66 books, this 1,189 chapters, 31,101 verses. God himself said, I have magnified my word above my name.”
