his loving nature compelled him to do something then just sit and watch the world spiral out of control we see this love popping up throughout the entire Bible we see the prophecies we I've read the prophecies a few moments ago just from Isaiah alone people walking in darknesspeople walking in a deep darkness and it's in that darkness that God showed up [00:02:29] (32 seconds)  #PropheticLight

everything stems from his nature as we're reminded in first John God is loveso difficult for us to really comprehend although we talk about it all the time in church in our Bible studies we talk about the nature of God we bring up how loving and kind and compassionate and merciful God is but in our world love is so much based on condition time and time again as the Israelites and as God's people as people who proclaimed his name turned from himhis love was still present his love continues to be present [00:07:29] (56 seconds)  #UnfailingDivineLove

Isaiah told Selvin my friend that the land that he donated did not require any money any financial payment he was giving it to the missionaries for free all he wanted in return all he wanted in return was a relationship all Isaiah wanted in return from our missionaries was a relationship not financialobligation he wanted to be able to visit with them and he wanted them to be able to visit him at his home to be able to sit under the tree and to be able to share Bible stories with him that's all that he asked for that was all that he wanted was a relationship with the missionaries to hear about God [00:13:33] (54 seconds)  #RelationshipNotRent

God took on fleshand came into our neighborhood so that we might have a relationship with him we're actually living on God's land we're actually where he is our landlord and it's that landlord that what he asks is a personal relationship with you God so loved you for God so loved me he wants you to dine at his tablehe wants you to sit under the tree with him he wants to share stories with you he wants you to share your life with him he wants you to call him friend when Jesus was born God was saying I'm here here to be your savior and your friend [00:15:03] (63 seconds)  #DineWithJesus

it was part of Isaiah's prophecy all along not just that he would be born not just that it was God taking on flesh not that his name would be Emmanuel all that I had read earlier in the service all those prophecies that we know aboutbut even this one right here which is just as much a part of this Christmas advent as all the other for this is why he came part of the prophecy all along Jesus took on flesh for a purpose took on flesh for the purpose of sacrifice the ultimate act of God's love [00:16:48] (48 seconds)  #IncarnationForLove

it is through this cross that the love of God the full extent of God's love is on display and you can't talk about the manger you can't talk about Christmas without including the story of the cross because this is the entrance and not that that's the exit but that was the reason for the cross is where God's love won out [00:18:18] (28 seconds)  #CrossAndManger

God loves us that much enough to send Jesus to take the place that you and I were supposed to take ourselves he loves us so much that he sent Jesus to take on the suffering in which you and I were to be judged to do so he sent Jesus to pay the price for our sin that our own death was meantour own life was meant to be given for the thing is is that because of your sin we deserve that ultimate punishment of separation from God [00:20:37] (42 seconds)  #JesusTookOurPlace

that's possible when you experience the loveif you're here this morning and you realize that that is exactly where you are in life you realize you need that kindof gift where you need that sort of relationship and friendshipGod's here admit that you're a sinner you're separated by God by your sin believe that he came in the fleshthat he took on your sin and died on the cross yet rose again on the third day to show that your sin is not so heavy that it kept him in the ground and commit your life to living for himdo that today and experience the love of God [00:25:02] (60 seconds)  #ChooseFaithToday
