#SmallActsBigImpact
“``Never underestimate what God can do through your small acts of love. Whether it's an encouraging message that you send, whether it's the meal you prepare, the prayer you pray, the visit you make, the kindness you show, the person you help, the forgiveness you extend, you may see something small, but God may see something eternal. You may see something ordinary, but God may be doing something extraordinary with that. See, many of us want to be used by God in big ways. We like the drama, the flash, But God often works through small acts of faithful repeat faithfulness repeated over time. Love one person well, serve one person well, Encourage one person well and trust God with the results of that.”

#LoveLikeJesus
“Jesus didn't simply tell us that he loved us, he showed us that he loved us because love acts, love sacrifices, love is faithful. And when we experience that kind of love, when we truly experience Christ's love in us, for us, it changes us. You cannot truly encounter the love of Jesus and remain the same. If you have encountered the love of Jesus, you cannot continue going about your life being unloving, unkind. And so we shouldn't simply want more love, but to have more of Jesus. That's our desire because he is the source and perfect example of love, and we can love because he first loved us.”

#SacrificialLove
“Real love will cost us something. Now, we love sacrifice in theory. We'll talk about being sacrificial, sacrificing for the things we love, but we struggle with it in practice, don't we? It's very easy to talk about it. It's a different story to actually live it out. Real love will cost us something because sacrifice means giving up something valuable that we treasure for the sake of someone else. And that's what parents do for their children. That's what spouses do for one another. At least, that should be the case. Even with our friends, that's what we do for our friends. We will sacrifice for the people we love. But most importantly, it's what Jesus did for us. Jesus loved sacrificially. And so real love isn't measured by what it receives, it's measured by what it's willing to give.”

#ActionsNotIntentions
“The truth is love is easiest to talk about, right? It's hardest to demonstrate. It's easy to say, I love you. It's harder to be patient. It's harder to forgive. It's harder to serve. It's harder to remain faithful when someone is difficult to love. But love is not proven by our intentions. Love is proven by our actions. So the question isn't, do I feel loving? The question is, am I being loving? Because people don't experience our feelings, they experience our actions. You can be well intentioned all you want if your actions do not support what you're saying. That's what people are going to take home. That's what people are going to experience. So love is demonstrated through action.”
