#ConfidenceInGodsPresence
“Joshua's confidence here was not supposed to come from his experience. And we can learn a lot from that. Sometimes you get thrust into positions that you're not confident you're ready to be in. But it wasn't his confidence wasn't from experience or from his personality or ability here. See, his confidence comes from God's presence. That's true for us too. God did not say Joshua, you are enough. God said Joshua, I will be with you. That's a difference. That's different.”

#GodWithYouInPain
“See, Ruth begins with famine and ends with the harvest. It begins with his death and ends with new life. It begins with Naomi saying she is empty and ends with a child in Ruth's arms. Now that doesn't mean every pain story in your life will resolve the exact same way that Ruth's did. Not what he's saying. But it does mean that God is still present when we cannot see what he's doing. He's still present. Our pain is not proof that he's abandoned us. And our present chapter that we're in, this moment of struggle, if you're struggling today, it's it's not the final chapter of your life.”

#JesusBreaksTheCycle
“There might be some people in here that that don't just need to simply recommit. Maybe you're in here today and you need to to begin a relationship with Jesus. You're like Israel in judges, like you've you've tried to rescue yourself, but that that cycle just keeps it keeps repeating itself over and over again. And sin, it promises these freedoms, but man, it just ends in bondage. It just ends. And then Jesus came to break the cycle. If you don't hear anything else today, hear that. Jesus came to break that cycle.”
