#RootHealing
“But the good news of the gospel and that we see is that God in his rootedness chose to set up his tent among us and that means that no root, no matter how injured, cannot be restored and healed. So when we have the opportunity to see through our relationships with others, through our relationship with ourselves, when we get a reflection of what's going on in that root, maybe even a place that we're uncomfortable with, maybe even in a place that triggers us, we have the opportunity as people of God to bring that to God and to say, this root needs to be healed.”

#RootedBeforeReaching
“The god that we worshiped is a rooted god, and god knows who god is before god makes any decisions about the world or its salvation or its redemption. That means that God is rooted before God is reaching. And so when we think about what it means to be rooted and reaching, we need to root down into who we are before we can reach out into what God is calling us to do within the world. God knows who God is before God makes any decisions about the world, its salvation, and its redemption. So what is God rooted in?”

#RootedToServe
“As we see in the person of God and as we see in the person of ourselves, attending to our roots is a very, very important of what it means to take on the work of this Christian life. We follow a God that sets up his tent among us and so we wanna set up our tent among others, but we also need to remember that God is a rooted God and how we are rooted is directly connected to how we are able to serve. How we are rooted is directly connected to how we are able to serve.”
