“``The only one that is perfectly delighted in the Father's will, The only one that has perfectly obeyed God's word. The only one that has perfectly stood where everyone else in all of history have failed. Jesus is the only one, and he's the only one that went to the cross. He's the only one that endured the judgment we deserved so that we might be able to stand before a righteous God clothed in Christ's righteousness.”

“And we're bringing this to a close. But can I make another observational look at something? If we're perfectly honest, none of us have perfectly delighted in God's word. None of us have perfectly resisted the counsel of the wicked, and none of us have perfectly refused to identify with the world's culture. Here's the amazing truth. The answer is not found in you or me. It's found in Jesus.”

“Fruitfulness is not produced through striving, it's produced through abiding. Here's the thing, fathers. How many y'all often feel pressured to produce? Right? Come on, be honest. How many y'all fathers feel pressure to produce? You really do. Right? You you you have this weight of expectation on you, like we need to be a better husband, we need to be better leaders, we need to be better fathers, but we cannot produce what we are not connected to. You cannot do it. So here here here here's what happens when you are connected to the fruit. Why or connected to the source. The fruit that is produced comes out looking like this. The first promise, we will yield fruit in season.”
48s
“So how does this fit with Father's Day simply? As leaders of the home, your children will go where you lead. Do you hear what I just said there, fathers? Your children will go where you lead, even single moms. And the greatest danger is not usually a sudden fall, but that gradual drift. Right? Children are always learning from what we celebrate, tolerate, and intimidate or imitate. See, while every child and daughter must make their choices before God, a father's direction often becomes a powerful influence on the direction of their child's lives.”
