The fruit you and I bear in our lives as we are submitted to Christ, hear me, it's not for you. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self -control is not for you. It's for those that you get to do life with. It's for the person that you don't even know that you encounter in the grocery store. It's for the barista at your favorite coffee shop. It's for your husband, it's for your wife, it's for your kids, it's for your team that you serve on, for your life group, for your job. [00:54:17] (32 seconds) Edit Clip

You do not submit to God except going through Jesus Christ. There's not multiple ways to God. There is not multiple. God, you do not need a mediator between you and God to talk to God. Hebrews is very clear. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, we can approach the throne of God and speak to him ourselves. [01:06:35] (20 seconds) Edit Clip

It's not your job to produce. It's your job to sow seeds and be faithful. It's God's job to produce. You do your best. Watch him do his. You're doing better than you think you are. But maybe he needs to change the narrative. Maybe he needs to change the songs a little bit. [01:04:56] (20 seconds) Edit Clip

If we're going to live by the Spirit, if we're going to say, hey, change the playlist in my life. I want to be a part of something bigger. I want to grow in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self -control. I want to become better in all those things. If we're going to say that, here's what he says. Now go live it. Go to work and act like it. [01:01:37] (20 seconds) Edit Clip

You can't do this without help. You got to have the help of God. You got to have the help of the Holy Spirit in your life to go, this isn't on me, because when it is all on me, watch this, it gets heavier, but Jesus goes, I want to change the playlist of your life, and in fact, I want to take the responsibility that you've given yourself to grow in these things. It is the sacrifice of Jesus that opens the opportunity for you and for me to go, you know what, God, I got to get this right. And so I give you my life today. And that is how we start this sometimes. And for some, and I say sometimes, because some of you in the room, you've started that relationship years ago. Now you got to walk it. And for some of you, you got to go, Jesus coming to my life. Today's the day where I want to walk a new life. I need a new start. And it starts with Jesus. [01:06:55] (28 seconds) Edit Clip
