#LiveTheGospel
“``So here's what we must understand in the entire picture of the book of Romans and especially in Romans 12, and this is our big idea this morning. The gospel doesn't change where you're going when you die. It changes how you live before you get there. The gospel doesn't just change where you're going when you die, it changes how you live today, now, while you are still breathing on this earth before you get there.”

#LivingSacrificeDaily
“Paul says, offer your bodies as a living sacrifice. The thing about a living sacrifice, unlike a dead sacrifice, it can crawl off the altar. It can move away from the altar. Every morning, we have a decision to make. Will I stay on the altar of what Jesus has done for me? Allow God to do a work in me. Allow God to change my life for the better. Allow God to guide my steps. Or will I crawl off the altar because I want to control my life again.”

#ChooseJesusNotWorld
“You see, I tried to manage my image instead of surrendering my heart. Here's the reality. To choose Jesus is to give up choosing what the world has for you. It's to give up how to handle situations how the world does. It's to not talk like the world does. It's not like to think how the world does. We have a choice to make. Are we choosing Jesus or are we choosing the world?”

#ReturnToTheAltar
“Cool thing about our God is he's always willing to take back a living sacrifice. He's always ready for you to come back. It's that word we use repentance to turn from, but in this context, it's getting back on the altar. However, crawling back on the altar is hard because transformation is intentional. Leads us back into our big idea. The gospel doesn't just change where you're going when you die. It changes how you live before you get there.”
