“Christ ends the requirement to pursue righteousness through obedience to the law. Instead, offering righteousness through his own merit. What I just said right there is the old testament where they couldn't understand it. The old testament was given to the point you to you aren't righteous. You can earn righteousness through your own deeds. You can't keep the law. You can't offer burnt sacrifices enough to cover your sin. Jesus shows up. He's the end of the law in this. We receive righteousness not by what we do, but by who we believe in.”

“People with gospel priorities do not merely talk about lost people. Listen to me, church. I love you. We pray for them. It's easy to critique the culture. It's hard to get in the prayer closet on your knees and go, god, would you please use me to reach them? It's easy to, man, critique or be critical of one generation or the next. It's difficult to get on your knees and pray and fight. Go, God, please use me to reach these lost people.”

“We're not giving right standing before God because, well, I went to church. I read my bible. I didn't smoke, cuss, or have sex outside of marriage. Some of y'all woke up. The only way we're giving righteousness oh, god. Don't help. Don't get don't get over this. The only way you have a righteous standing with god is through faith in Jesus. Anything else is adding to the cross. This is what Paul is saying.”

“Gospel priorities are when the gospel so transform your heart that it begins to shape the direction of your life. It changes what you love. It changes what burdens you. It changes what you pray for. It changes what you live for. You begin to ask what matters to Jesus. What helps people see Jesus in me and through me? What has eternal value?”
