#NoSplitsOverTradition
“And our sincere efforts to be followers of Jesus, you've you've probably seen that there's a sincere desire to adhere to all of Jesus' commands, to to lives that follow strictly after the way of Jesus. And we found ourselves relatively split and fragmented, oftentimes because of matters that we should not have split over. Can we agree? And guess what? Over nineteen hundred years ago, only a while after Jesus ascended into heaven, the church in Rome and the church in Corinth were already in some difficult waters, perhaps headed towards Splitsville even.”

#DontSplitOverSmallStuff
“I don't know, maybe two for a subcommittee on it, one to to actually do the work, and then one to split off and say, well, we're not gonna be a lights church, we're gonna be a candles church. And I'm starting a new denomination over it. I don't know. And our sincere efforts to be followers of Jesus, you've you've probably seen that there's a sincere desire to adhere to all of Jesus' commands, to to lives that follow strictly after the way of Jesus. #UnityOverRituals
“some of the Jewish believers kept adhering to some of their traditional and ceremonial laws like worshiping on a certain day. Well, Gentile Christians never had practiced, for instance, worshiping on the Sabbath, and it wasn't actually important to them. New moon festivals, annual feasts like Yom Kippur, Passover, these types of things. And so there was tension in the church. Tension in the church. Ever been in a church with some tension? Tension in the church. But the believers in Rome are all from diverse backgrounds trying to live in unity while they have disagreements in some areas. Alright. So Paul has just given two chapters worth of arguments about how we're supposed to live. Lots about exactly how we're supposed to live. And now he says, don't argue with them about what you think is right or wrong.”
