#CitizensOfHeavenFirst
“``Three truths that every believer must remember today. Number one on our cultural vacuum, if the church won't discipline the nation in God's truth, the world will gladly disciple the nation with its lies. Number two on Romans 13, Paul didn't give us Romans 13 to turn Christians into political pundits. He gave it to us so we'd stop acting like God isn't sovereign over the state. And number three, on civil allegiance. We, you and I, we are citizens of heaven, stewards on earth. We obey human authority until human authority demands we disobey God. Then, the higher law wins every single time.”

#TeachGodsDesignForGovernment
“When pastors refuse to teach what God says about authority and government and righteousness, the secular culture doesn't stop preaching it because the only preacher is left in the room and that's culture. Remember, Paul didn't write Romans 13 under Christian democracy. He wrote it under emperor Nero with no hero believers around. Nero was a persecutor of Christians and he killed many Christians. And if Paul wasn't afraid to address the government under tyrants, we shouldn't be afraid to teach God's design for government today. Government is God's idea, not man's creation. Rulers are called God's ministers to protect good and restrain evil. When human law demands divine disobedience, our allegiance remains the with the king of kings. We don't preach government to serve political party. We preach it because God ordained it, Christ rules over it, God's word governs it.”

#PulpitMustSpeakUp
“I'm gonna close with this. Silence is not spirituality. Like I said earlier, pastors shouldn't talk about politics and government from the pulpit. Let me say this. If pastors shouldn't talk about politics and government from from the pulpit, then we need to rip out Romans 13 out of the Bible. We need to rip out Genesis chapter nine. We need to rip rip out Daniel, Exodus, and first Peter. And I think you'll agree with me. All our culture and our country is in a moral tarot spin because the Bible lacks answers, but because the pulpit lost its voice. Again, our culture, our country is in a moral tailspin not because the bible lacks answers but because the pulpit lost its voice.”

#SilenceLeavesVacuum
“And when pulpits are silent, it leaves a vacuum. And in that vacuum, I guarantee you, Satan will fill it with culture. That culture is unrighteous and it's gonna fill it no matter what, whether you like it or not. And when pastors stay quiet about what the bible explicitly addresses, society ends up paying the price. God didn't leave Romans 13 in the scriptures by accident. He put it there because faith and government are not mutually exclusive. They are deeply intertwined.”
