#RoadToEmmausEncounter
“Shortly after starting the seven mile walk from Jerusalem to Emmaus, as Tabitha and Cleopas were intently discussing the situation, they were joined by a stranger, One who seemed untouched by the events of the weekends. He asked what things they were discussing. But then he proceeded to talk them through the scriptures, teaching them about how the coming messiah was destined to suffer before he reigned. When they reached their home, they talked their new friend into staying for dinner and a place to sleep. They sat down to eat. He blessed the food. He broke the bread. Cleopas and Tabitha recognized him to be Jesus and then he vanished.”
