#LifeFromTheLamb
“``If you trace the headwaters of life back up to its source, it goes to the throne of the lamb. And the lamb died that we should not perish but could have everlasting life. When Jesus died on a cross, he did what was necessary to take care of our sin problem so that we could have life. A life that begins now and carries through into the hereafter. A life where now his spirit is placed in us, but one day we will see him face to face. Oh, my friend, that life can start for you now.”

#DefineLifeInChrist
“you're gonna read all this stuff, the the streets of gold, the foundational gemstones, the river, the tree. But those are just statements about who God is. The life comes the throne. The life comes from Jesus and knowing him. And that's the most important thing. He is the one who is life. We keep trying to define life on our terms. But when Christ becomes your life, you define life on his terms.”

#AbundantLifeBeyondDigits
“When when Jesus says, I came that you might have life and you might have it more abundantly, you and I oftentimes think in terms of the stuff that makes our life worth living. Well, Jesus, I won't have as many problems. Right? I I won't have as many difficulties. I'll have more of the stuff I like. I'll be more popular. I'll be happier. I'll have these we start to Jesus isn't talking just about the stuff of life. He's not just talking about the length of life. He's talking about the depth of life. This abundant life is everything more than you could imagine, and it is so abundant that it is it it's almost laughable. You and I deal with a number between one and ten about how great our life is, and God wants to deal with numbers between one and ten thousand. And he is asking you, why are you still in single digits?”

#LiveLimitlessly
“Here's what it is. You and I have got to figure out how to live in the life God wants to give us in the place where life knows limit. I've never lived like that. All my life is limited. I only have so much time. I only have so many days. I only have so much energy. I only have so much ability. And I'm trying to cram life. I'm trying to cram life in containers. And in heaven, there's no container. How much life can you get when there's no boundary? Limitless. And you see, I need to be healed into a new way of life.”

#HeadwatersAtTheCross
“We really wanna see God. Not because it's a novelty. Not because we'll say, oh, guess what? I got to see God. Oh, let me tell you about it. That is the source of my life. Everything I'm about goes back to that. You wanna take the river of my life and follow it back up? The headwaters are at a cross. You wanna talk about what my life produces, the fruit it is? It's fed by the river that goes back to the cross. You wanna talk about whatever healing I find or whatever wholeness I find or whatever purpose I find. It that that the green leaves you see, it is fed by this tree that is healthy because it is by a river that is a river of life, and it goes back to the cross. In fact, just do this. Take me to the cross. That is life.”

#CrossIsTheTreeOfLife
“And to that, I would agree, there is just one tree of life. But for you and I, the tree of life was first planted on a mountain in Golgotha where Jesus died. That's the source of our life. That's where you and I find life. In fact, we even refer to the cross that way, don't we? A tree. It was upon a tree that he died.”

#TreeOfLifeBeginsAndEnds
“If Adam and Eve had fallen and eaten of the tree of life, that would be their condition for all eternity. You see, what God is doing is taking the steps necessary to fix the problem sin created. And it is important Adam and Eve don't eat of the tree of life because we've gotta fix what's broken. And so God has to remove them, and he removes the tree. Look at this. And he drove man out of the and at the east of the Garden Of Eden, he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the tree of life. We really don't find the tree of life again. It's mentioned figuratively in various places. Not until we get to the last chapter, and here it is. What was at the beginning of the Bible in the tree of life is now at the end of the Bible as a tree of life.”

#LifeIsAGiftNotEarned
“Most of us are looking for abundant life. Most of us want life to get better. We want the number on that scale to go up, not down. And and we look for life, and we try to find ways to enhance our life, and build our life, and do all these things. And and so as we looking for it, so many times we think we have to build that kind of life. If I got a better job, life would get better. If I had more money, if I had more stuff, if I was more popular, if I finished this degree, if I did this, if I did that, we keep trying to figure out a way to build life even in terms of with God. If I were a better person, if I didn't do all the bad things, then God would give me life. He could trust me with more life. And so I need to convince him I'm worth receiving life from him. That's not what we have here.”
61s
#NoMoreNightNoMoreLimits
“It's abundant this way. Look at this. And the night will be no more. They will need no light nor lamp nor sun for the God Lord God will be their light. They'll rain forever. You and I live in perpetual fear of night. Because here's here's what we think. At night, it's over. Jesus said this, let everyone work while it is day because night is coming when no man can work. What happens at night? We quit. And in agricultural world, you wanna get it all in. When the harvest comes, it's all hands on deck because we're scared we won't get it in. You and I live scared we're not gonna get enough life. We're not gonna get everything in. And so the world tells us this thing about what you better do and you better do and you better do you better do. Because there's a limit to your life, and you are desperately trying to get it all in. And the sign of heaven is this, there is no end.”
54s
#LeavesForHealingNations
“I have never lived a day without the curse of sin. I've never lived a day where I didn't battle a sin nature, where I wasn't surrounded by people who were battling sin natures. Never lived a day where cancer was no more. Never lived a day where funeral homes were obsolete. I've never lived a day knowing any of those things. My life is shaped by my perspective. But where we're going is so different in this world, our our perspective has to change. And that's what he says. Look at this. The fruit the tree is it yields it every month. But then it says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
39s
#AbundanceFromTheThrone
“I that's why he says this. Look at what he says. No longer will there be anything accursed. But then he goes back, but the throne of God and the lamb will be in it. The throne is the headwaters. You have the trees. The fruit is abundant. You're gonna have a rich life. Oh, and I'm gonna give you this healing because you're gonna have to learn how to live this new life. Why? Because the throne of God is there. We're back to the throne, the source of life, the beginning of it all. You and I are trying to figure out how to live life in a place of abundance.”

#GodOfTheLivingAndResurrection
“Isaac's still around here. Now listen. I know they're not here with you. They are with my father. But listen to me. They've not been able to get real life yet. It's not been accomplished yet because I haven't died on a cross yet. But I'm telling you, one day it's coming because God doesn't deal in death. He deals in life. And he is just trying to orchestrate things so that they can have the most abundant life you could ever imagine. In fact, it is more than you could imagine. He is not the God of the dead. He is the God of the living. And this thing about resurrection is more than you can even comprehend. Because when we get there, it is linked, it is depth, and it is his presence and seeing him face to face, the relationship that we long to have. Jesus preaches the sermon on the mount, and in it he says, blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God.”
53s
#LifeFlowsFromTheLamb
“And it is the headwaters for what becomes the Jordan River. It flows all the way through the nation of Israel. It becomes a monumental river in the nation. But you need to know this. In Hebrew, the word Jordan literally means this, down from Dan. whole what time they're referring to the river, they're referring to the headwaters. They're saying all this came down from up there. Up there where Dan is, up there where the spring is, That's where it comes from. And John is doing the same thing. As we come to the end, he says, all of this is so you can have life, and you need to know that life only comes from Jesus. It comes from the lamb and the sacrifice the lamb made to give us life.”
56s
#HealingBeyondThePhysical
“Now ain't that interesting? Because if you were going to eat something, it would be the fruit and not the leaves. And if you thought of something that would bring you healing, wouldn't you think eating the fruit would be the thing to bring the healing, not the leaves? Why the leaves? And what healing are we talking about? Remember, we've we've already come through everything. There is no more death. There is no more disease. There is no more sickness that the former things have passed away. They don't exist anymore. We don't need a physical healing anymore. Our bodies are not succumbed to disease or illness or or any of those. So what healing is it? It's not a physical healing. It is almost a therapeutic type of healing.”
42s
#ThinkInTenThousands
“Listen. Heaven is overwhelming. It is. But it's only overwhelming because the source is more than you could imagine. This morning, quit dealing in single digits because the life God wants to give you has a length and a depth and a breadth that you can't imagine, but he wants to show it to you. Would you stand with me? With our heads bowed and our eyes closed.”
66s
#LostLifeAfterTheFall
“Some people would say, well, they didn't die. God didn't kill them. Well, physically, God did not kill them. But did they really have life anymore? They couldn't stay in the garden. They had to be removed. They didn't walk with God anymore. The relationship was severed. They they didn't that now they were they didn't have problems. Now they have problems. Now they struggle to make crops grow. Now death and disease and sickness become part of their world. Now things like pride and envy and jealousy and slander and and gossip and murder and all these things start to become a part of their world. Did they really come alive? No. If you ask Adam and Eve and they say, how was your life in the Garden of Eden? They would say, it's a 10. After the Garden of Eden, this feels like a two. They really aren't alive.”
54s
#GodRaisesYourScore
“On a scale of one to 10, fulfilled are you in your life? How satisfied are you? 10 being I can't imagine anything that could make my life better. One being I can't imagine anything that would make it worse. Most of us are somewhere in the middle. I ask a lot of people that question because that's the opening question for for a gospel presentation. Most people end up somewhere between five and seven. I get some people who give me a four. I get some people who give me an eight, but most of them end up somewhere in that range. And then the next question is this, do you think if God were a greater part of your life, would that number go up or down? Everybody's always said up. I've never had anybody tell me down.”
56s
#ChoiceThatCursedCreation
“Adam and Eve have life. They have a great life. All their needs are provided. They don't have any problems. There's no sin. There's no struggle. There's no disease. There's no more problems. And God is there with them. He walks with them in the cool of the day. They have a relationship with God that that is so personal and so close. They live that way. There's only one stipulation. You cannot eat of that tree. The knowledge of good and evil. You can't eat of it. For the day you eat of it, you will surely die. But Adam and Eve do eat of it. They do eat that fruit. And that begins the whole problem. That's where sin is introduced. That's where the curse begins to happen. That's where Adam and Eve are and the ground are cursed, and even Satan is cursed. And and all of that begins right there.”
44s
#RiverFromTheThrone
“We have a very different picture of life and what it means. So he gives us two symbols for life, then he talks about what it means. So let's let's deal with those symbols first. The first one is the river of life. Look at how he begins that there's this river of water of life, and he describes it bright as crystal flowing from the throne of God and the lamb. It's it's as if John is talking about this massive river of life. And he wants to take us to the headwaters, to the spring where it comes from. And it all comes from the throne of God, from the throne of the lamb. And so that is the headwaters of this.”
43s
#LetGodRaiseYourLife
“Do you know this? If God were a part of your life, the number would go up. So why don't you make God a part of your life today and just see how much he can raise that number? Father God, we thank you for the cross because, God, while it is the death of Christ, it is the headwaters of life for us. That tree that tree brings life. So, God, help us to understand the life there is in the lamb that was slain for the foundation of the world.”
