The world shifts and changes with every passing day, bringing uncertainty and new challenges. Yet, there is a profound comfort in knowing that God remains steadfast and faithful through it all. His character, His love, and His promises do not waver with the times. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, a constant source of strength and stability. In Him, we find a sure foundation that will never be moved. This truth empowers us to face each day with confidence and hope. [29:30]
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8 ESV)
Reflection: In what area of your life are you most aware of change and uncertainty right now? How can you intentionally anchor your heart to the truth of God’s unchanging nature in that specific situation?
The same divine power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is not a distant historical event but a present, living reality for every believer. This power is God’s gift to you, meant to be actively experienced in your daily life. It is the strength to overcome spiritual forces of darkness, to protect your relationships, and to walk in victory. You were not created to live in defeat but to be empowered from on high. This resurrection life is your inheritance in Christ. [45:49]
“And what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places…” (Ephesians 1:19-20 ESV)
Reflection: Where have you been feeling spiritually weak or defeated lately? What would it look like to actively rely on Christ’s resurrection power instead of your own strength in that area?
God’s plan for you includes being filled with His Spirit to live a victorious life here and now. This power is essential for the battles we face, which are not merely against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness. The Holy Spirit empowers you to overcome negative forces like hate, greed, fear, and doubt that aim to destroy your life and relationships. This endowment is not for a select few but is God’s gracious provision for every believer. [36:19]
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 ESV)
Reflection: Consider a specific negative force—such as fear, doubt, or division—that has been challenging you recently. How might you yield more fully to the Holy Spirit’s power to overcome it today?
You do not need to “get yourself together” before you can approach God or receive His power. The crucifixion was God’s complete and final work to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. In His mind, your old self was crucified with Christ, and you are now made new. God is not waiting to punish you but is ready to pour His power into your life, just as you are. Victory is found not in your own efforts but in receiving what Christ has already accomplished. [48:00]
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20 ESV)
Reflection: Is there a part of your past or a personal weakness you still feel you need to fix before God can use you? What would it mean to truly accept that the cross has already dealt with it completely?
Jesus Christ is not a distant figure but a living, active mediator who continually connects you to the Father. He ever lives to make intercession for you, ensuring your connection to God’s presence, power, and plan remains secure. This connection is not based on your performance but on His grace. Even when you feel weak, make a mistake, or want to give up, He is there keeping you connected. You are forever held in His faithful grip. [44:15]
“Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.” (Hebrews 7:25 ESV)
Reflection: When you feel distant from God, what practical step can you take to remind yourself of the truth that Jesus is actively holding you and interceding for you right now?
Jesus’ resurrection anchors a present, practical victory that changes how believers live now. The forty days between resurrection and ascension formed a season of demonstrated life—Jesus appeared with unmistakable proofs to those prepared to be witnesses and then instructed them to wait in Jerusalem for the promised Holy Spirit. The coming of the Spirit equips people with resurrection power so they can confront not merely circumstances but the spiritual forces—hate, greed, lust, pride, division, fear, doubt—that work through the flesh. The crucifixion removed the penalty and power of sin by placing transgression on a perfect sacrifice; the resurrection then raised believers into newness of life so the devil’s claims lose authority.
Power matters because the battle targets hearts and relationships, not only outward behavior. The Holy Spirit becomes the enabling presence that protects marriages, families, thoughts, and future generations, and that empowers witness from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. Waiting for this empowerment is not passive resignation but intentional preparation: Jesus told those called to ministry to delay departure until they received power for testimony and victory. The same power that raised Christ from the dead stands ready to be experienced, taught, and grown into through community, instruction, and yielded obedience.
Salvation begins when a person decides to receive Christ’s finished work—acknowledging sin, trusting the cross and the resurrection, and claiming the gift of power and forgiveness. New life immediately connects a person to God’s presence, power, plan, and people; it also invites ongoing growth in the Spirit and practical training to steward gifts and manifestations. Corporate life matters: the church exists to sharpen, equip, and sustain those who will press into supernatural living together. An open invitation calls those unsure of salvation or who have drifted away to respond now, to be prayed over, and to enter a season of faith where God will show himself strong and the Holy Spirit will begin to transform daily living.
That's why the resurrection is so significant because Jesus, the Bible says that god put on him our sins. Our fleshly the the way we want to just get god just Jesus never sinned. God took our sins, put them on him, and Jesus died for our sins but everybody say but. But. But on the third day, god raised him from the dead. In other words, Jesus overcame all of those things that are overcoming us.

That's why the resurrection is so important because the Bible says that we were all dead. We were all dead in our trespasses and sins, but god, when Jesus rose from the dead, he put us in Jesus and raised us up. That's why Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and I am the life. He's your resurrection, and he's your life. That means the devil does not have to defeat us anymore.

This before the resurrection was the crucifixion. The crucifixion was god doing what you could never do for yourself. The crucifixion was god cleansing you from all unrighteousness. The crucifixion was god putting all of your sins, all of your weaknesses, all of your mistakes on a perfect man, Jesus. A perfect sacrifice, Jesus. And when he died, god said, you died. In the mind of god, when Jesus died, your old self, your old smoking, drinking, running around self is dead.

Now, this is so so important. Easter is not just about about going to heaven. It's about going to heaven and being victorious while you're here before you get to heaven. When you get to heaven, you're gonna be celebrating the victories that god made available through you but you're gonna have to have some power while you're here in order to win those victories. Now, you say, well, why is that? Well, it's because we're not fighting against people. Our battle, the Bible says, is with with spirits, with demons, with demonic forces.

Demons are aiming at you and your family, your coworkers, your friends, your your relationship with your neighbors, with your fellow Americans, and even with your fellow citizens in the world, the devil is aiming his torches, his his his missiles at you. These invaluable yet powerful forces are turning people's hearts cold. This is the issue. Is your heart gonna stay open to god or is your heart gonna grow cold to love hate, greed, lust, pride, division, fear, doubt

Hate greed, lust, pride, division, fear doubt These aren't just feelings. These are also spiritual forces. These are demons. I was telling you one time when I was when I was driving somewhere, I was driving and somebody cut me off and I I started to just I hit the horn. I'm just beeping the horn and and before, you know, it's just like kinda light. I I didn't feel anything but when I when I hit that horn, something came over me to help me hit the horn.
