The world can give somebody something new, whether it is a house, a car, a phone, a shirt, or even new sheets, but anything new in this world will not stay new for long. God, however, does not fade, break down, or let His people down over time.

The text does not deny that fear, doubt, and worry can creep in, because human beings do deal with those things. The contrast is that anxiousness does not get to be the final response.
